Hey there friends! I hope you had a beautiful Mothers Day! I had a card to upload yesterday but the events of the day had me wrapped up in some sweet distractions. I’m back today with another Quietfire Design card! I flat out love the new sentiments and the one I’m using today is from the If You Don’t Believe in Miracles set. Trust me, it will grace many cards in the future, and of course, I believe in miracles :-)

Here’s how I made it – step by step:
Starting out with a card base 5-1/8″x 6-1/2″, I added a panel from cream cut to 4-1/2″ x 5-5/8″. Behind my panel at the top I put Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One then this layer was adhered to base with foam tape. I added a new panel from digital paper, stamped on and cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″. Next I added a panel cut with Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence and Spellbinders Labels 28 at the same time. Before taking the paper out of the die I smudged pink ink between the two dies to create a border. Then I cut Spellbinders Rose Medallion and wrapped it around my focal panel then this layer was adhered to base with two layers of foam tape. I finished with a grosgrain bow and some pearls.
Have a great week, sweeties! I’ll see you soon!

Hi there friends, I’m tickled to share one of the new Quietfire Design stamps I received last week. I rarely buy wood mounted stamps any more because I just don’t have the room to store them but I do like rubber cling – *a lot*. If it is just red rubber, I simply put some double sided tape on my clear block to hold the stamp in place but I really, really like red rubber mounted to cling foam. All that to say when I got my goodies in the mail I literally squealed when I saw that the stamps were mounted on the gray foam. This week I’ve been playing and there are so many feel good sentiments in the seven new sets Quietfire is offering – I went straight to the If You Don’t Believe in Miracles set.

Here’s how I made it – step by step:
Starting out with a cardbase 5-1/2″x 7-1/4″, I added a panel from Kraft cut to 5-1/8″ x 6-1/2″ and a mat from cream cut to 5″ x 6-3/8″, adhered to base with foam tape. I added a new panel from kraft cut to 4-5/8″ x 5-3/4″ and a mat from cream cut to 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and embossed with Spellbinders Infinity. I took a die cut of Spellbinders Adorning Labels Twenty Five and Spellbinders Labels Twenty Five and scored it in half lengthwise and straddled it across my panel before attaching with foam tape. Next I added a series of three ovals, Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, Spellbinders Floral Ovals and Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM with the stamped sentiment on the latter. I finished off with the curly flourish from Spellbinders Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. I added a bow, a pearl pin and three flat four petal flowers.
I just love the sentiment, how uplifting! Who doesn’t need this sweet reminder every now and again?

Hi there blog friends! As many of you guessed I was in one of the flooding areas yesterday. Thankfully I’m on ground that’s a little bit elevated but I must say that I’ve never seen so much water appear in such a short time – not even in a hurricane. It was about 10 feet from my house and thankfully receded during the day. No worries though, rain to me is an open invitation to stay inside and get crafty, so that’s exactly what I did. Today I’m joining as a part of the May 2014 new releases for JustRite Papercraft, and I’m using Butterflies Cling Stamps.
For my card I started with a 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card base and built it up using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight, Spellbinders Gold Majesty Circles, Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy and finally, Standard Circles LG and Standard Circles SM. I ran my ribbon through the slots on the small Heirloom Legacy piece and then decided to use two pieces of ribbon, criss crossed :-)

Good afternoon Becca, This card is simply beautiful and the sentiment is one I could have used on my granddaughter’s 1st communion card yesterday. Instead, I used the simple “Believe in Miracles” which I’ve had since I started card making about 14 or 15 years ago! Happy Mother’s Day for yesterday xx.
Gorgeous!!!

Beautiful and elegant!

How wonderful to have such nice storage shelves. I have been trying to get all my stamps and dies stored and labeled so I may be able to find what I need. My problem is, I always find something new to buy before I finish my storage shelves. I am trying to use colored dots to separate each category. I am storing all my dies and stamps (that fit) in the Stampin Up plastic cases. They appear a lot neater but I just never get finished!! I love all your organization. Good for you, making your craft room look so “Organized”!! Thanks for sharing your room. Linda
wow so tidy you better not see my storage!!
that is a great idea and having it attached to the wall has it up off the floor.
love your cards the yellow one is fab. Sheila
I’m so impressed with your storage system and work area. Your work is ALWAYS over the top. It pays to have a well organized work space. I can never wait to see what you come up next..
Becca,
You are such an inspiration in so many ways. I am now on a mission to get myself that organized. Thanks for such good ideas and beautiful work.
Wow, just introduced to your site……you are amazing girl !!
