Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Butterfies and Spellbinders Gold Majesty Circles
Hi there blog friends!  As many of you guessed I was in one of the flooding areas yesterday.  Thankfully I’m on ground that’s a little bit elevated but I must say that I’ve never seen so much water appear in such a short time – not even in a hurricane.   It was about 10 feet from my house and thankfully receded during the day.  No worries though, rain to me is an open invitation to stay inside and get crafty, so that’s exactly what I did.  Today I’m joining as a part of the May 2014 new releases for JustRite Papercraft, and I’m using Butterflies Cling Stamps.  WRBF-4269-2014

For my card I started with a 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ card base and built it up using Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight, Spellbinders Gold Majesty Circles, Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy and finally, Standard Circles LG and Standard Circles SM.  I ran my ribbon through the slots on the small Heirloom Legacy piece and then decided to use two pieces of ribbon, criss crossed :-)

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber Stamps: JustRite Papercraft – Butterflies Cling Stamps
Craft Paper: Coredinations, Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White 80 lb, PTI
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Spellbinders Decorative Labels EightSpellbinders Gold Majesty CirclesSpellbinders Heirloom LegacyStandard Circles LGStandard Circles SM, The Paper Studio Pearls, May Arts Silk Ribbon, Spectrum Noir Markers, Prima Mulberry Roses, Grand Calibur Die Cut Machine

Congratulation Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken Using Justrite Congrats Vintage Labels and Spellbinders Labels Thirty Two
Hiya friends!  I thought I would bring some color into the world today.  I came upon a pearlescent pad of paper in my stash and combined several colors with a stunning pattern from K & Company.  It was a wonderful palette to use the new JustRite Stitched Circles Background.  I used it in a subtle way to add texture to my design paper.  Because the design on the stamp is so airy, this will be a fabulous one to layer over top of so many things with not too much risk of it becoming busy.  Digging through my stash, I found a silver pearl embossing powder from a long gone stamp company – but I’m sure someone makes an up to date version.
WRBF-4233-2014
Along with the gorgeous medallion stamp from the Congrats Vintage Labels Three and Seven Set , there are quite a few large sentiments – I picked ‘congrats”.  The medallion is cut using Spellbinders Labels Thirty Two and the sentiment is stamped on Vintage Labels Seven.

You Can Make This Card Too:  Start out with a cream hinged card base sized 6″ x 7-1/2″.  Here are the rest of the layers from the bottom up.  Pumpkin panel cut to 5-3/8″ x 6-5/8″ – adhere to card base using foam tape.  Matted panel from gold cut to 4-7/8″ x 6-1/8″ and stamped design paper cut to 4-3/4″ x 6″.  Add lace and satin ribbon.  Using largest die cut from Labels Thirty Two, stamp and heat emboss medallion – adhere to base using foam tape.  Add die cut layer using Vintage Labels Seven stamped with sentiment – adhere to base using foam tape.  Add bow in lower left of Labels Thirty two die.  Embellish with pearls and add stick pin.

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber Stamps: JustRite Papercraft – JustRite Stitched Circles BackgroundCongrats Vintage Labels Three and Seven
Craft Paper: The Paper Studio – Pearlescent, K and Company
Ink: Versamark and Silver Pearl Embossing Powder
Accessories:Vintage Labels SevenSpellbinders Labels Thirty Two, The Paper Studio Pearls, Paper Source Satin Ribbon – Gold, Silver Pearl Embossing Powder, Mulberry Roses, Triple Pearl Pin – Maya Roads, Lace, Grand Calibur Die Cut Machine

    Hi Becca,
This doesn’t have the normal Becca look to it, probably because it is not a color you use very often — but I really like it.
Just came back from a Craft Surplus Sale – sold a lot of stuff in anticipation of enclosing of my front screened porch into a glassed in “CRAFT ROOM” for me!! So very anxious, supposed to start on it Monday. So going through all of my stash, decided to get rid of a lot of stuff I haven’t used and probably won’t so it was off to another good home. Will be sure and send you a pic when it is completed.

Easter Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken Using Waltzingmouse Stamps - The Good Egg, Spellbinders Divine Eloquence and Tranquil Moments
Hi there sweet friends!  Today I’m blogging both here and on the Waltzingmouse Design Team blog.   I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make something totally fun for Easter.  Yes, it involves pink, yes it involves bunnies, yes it involves candy….my work is done!  So here on my blog I’m showing the card I made for my ensemble.  I say ensemble because I made something really sweet and easy to match the card.  That something (and pattern) is over on the Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team Blog – for the specific post, click HERE.

WRBF-4225-2014
So for my card I stacked die templates like crazy.  The bottom layer of dies is Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence and on top of that I stacked Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments.  I’m using the same speckled design paper and pink ruffled ribbon as for my matching item.  The card uses one of my favorite Waltzingmouse Stamps sets called  A Good Egg.   The egg shape and banner were cut out using Waltzingmouse Cut Files in A Good Egg Bundle – all the egg shapes are in the stamp set so you can fussy cut too!

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Rubber StampsWaltzingmouse Stamps – A Good Egg
Craft Paper: Neenah Classic Crest – Smooth – Natural White, The Paper Studio, Pink
Ink: Fresh Ink – Sugar
Accessories:  Spellbinders A2 Divine EloquenceSpellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments, The Paper Studio Pearls, Silk Ribbon, Grand Calibur Die Cut Machine

Thanks so much for stopping by . . . don’t forget to pop over to Waltzingmouse Team Talk Blog.  While you’re over there don’t forget to download the free pattern with instructions so you can make your own :-)

    Hi Becca Dear,
I am a child of God too and I love Him with all my heart. He healed me from a stroke I should ahave been paralyzed in bed but Dr said I am “a
Miracle walking lady” He also healed y left Carotid Artery as it was full 100% and they done another test twice as they didn’t believe It was only 30% then so what would you think who do it?? WWJD???? I know what He does.
You do beautiful wonderful work on your cards ,Becca.

    Becca,
Hello! I love every creation you have made! With that said, I have a question for you. Have you ever just made a simple card without the bells and whistles and displayed it here on your blog?? It would be fun to see how you developed into the expert card maker!
    Thanks!
