Amazing Paper Grace 3D Holiday Vignettes and Glimmer - Christmas Damask Jubilee by Spellbinders - learn about this die at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=35242
Way back when 3D Vignettes were introduced, messages started to come in by crafters begging for the same thing, but in Christmas.  You also asked that we keep supplying new inserts.  Well, your wish is our command!  Introducing 3D Holiday Vignettes plus new Glimmer designsIf you are not familiar with these popular dies, keep reading for lots of information.

Hi there, today I’m sharing my newest collection featuring new Vignettes for the holidays and the new Holiday Glimmer Designs will blow your socks off.  So…..

What is a 3D Vignette?

A 3D Vignette is a dimensional card that folds down flat.  It has a front layer, a back layer and several in between layers that are held stable by slotted side pieces.  These layers allow you to build depth into a diorama or tunnel type card.  We take all of the guesswork out of the equation by giving you mix and match layers, including sentiments to stack into a Vignette.  To date, we’ve released 3D Vignettes and Shadowbox Vignettes collections.

What’s more, you can use your own supplies to fill them up as well.  The bonus is that each of these layers also works for your other types of cards you make.  As a budget crafter from day one, I thought it was very important to keep the “mix and match” sensibility alive in Holiday Vignettes so that you get a lot of bang for your buck.  What does that mean?

1.  These vignettes are interchangeable with your other vignettes.

2.  Holiday Designs can be used for non-holiday designs after the season has passed.

3.  You can use these elements to make flat, stand-alone cards too.

About 3D Holiday Vignettes

Layered Die sets were introduced with 3D Vignettes and people quickly realized you could use them standing alone in cards or you could use them layered together in a diorama.  Shadowbox Vignettes continued the tradition and as you might guess, these new layering sets can be used in both Shadowbox Vignettes and 3D Vignettes.

3D Holiday features three new facades (each including a sentiment) using the same shapes that came in the original 3D Vignettes – Round (snow globe), Arch, and Cabinet.

In addition, there is a new layering set for each – a round, an arch and a shape to fit the cabinet.  Join us as we give you a full-on look at all of the new sets.

My Cards For Today

First up is GLP-120 – Christmas Damask Jubilee

Here is what the plate actually looks like.

For my project today I made a Christmas Card and a matching box.  Easy peasy!!  In fact, there are so many things I love about this plate that I need to list them, lol!!  Like:

  • This plate can be used after Christmas.
  • There are three sentiments that with it that can be used separately or with the Damask Plate
  • After the Holidays it will be perfect for a wedding, for menus or for any other sentiment that fits the aperture
  • Oh, and it just coincidentally happens that S4-994 Marquise Diamond Pendant Die has the same shape as Damask Jubilee and will cut the shadow layer as I have done here.  So if that die is already in your stash, it will be well in your interest to consider Damask Jubilee, just sayin….

So incredibly beautiful! You really grabbed my attention with the Grand Lattice Arch-I ordered it the minute I saw it. When the 3D Vignette dies were first introduced, they kept selling out but I was persistent and was able to obtain the Cabinet, Arch and Globe shapes. You make me so happy to have made this investment. New inserts in spectacular settings guarantee I will be creating 3D cards to delight my friends and family for years to come!

Amazing Paper Grace sneak peek of 3D Holiday Vignettes - Prancing Reindeer Layering Set and Grand Holiday Cabinet by Spellbinders - learn about this die at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=35245

Hi there friends!  One word – Holiday Cheer!  Today I wanted to give you a new Sneak Peek of one New 3D Holiday Vignette and this is a link to all of my new Holiday Vignettes.

First of all, yesterday Spellbinders had a huge event online where they launched all of the holiday dies and stamps for 2019 – Vignettes included.  The offering is so huge and there is surely something there to please everyone from dies, to stamps, to Glimmer to supplies to new tutorials.  This year there are bundles galore, including some of my dies!  So much to see, keep scrolling to watch the Launch Party video.

Don’t miss the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team showing each of the new designs, in detail, in a 3D Holiday Vignette Blog Hop!  I hope you will join us to see some amazing paper craft creations.

I so love that this design folds flat to tuck into an envelope!

In the meantime, I was so blessed to be able to participate in the Holiday Cheer Launch and you can continue view all of the festivities here.  I’ll warn you – it’s four hours of tutorials and product showcases.  If you want to jump my tutorial, head right over to the 1 hour, 49 minute mark (1:49) but be sure to double back because there are other designers showing some of my other dies and everything that comes before is absolutely thrilling!

Here is some more eye candy from one of my favorite new sets.  The insert is the Reindeer Prance Layering Set and it is layered into a new 3D Holiday Vignette called the Grand Holiday Cabinet.

Amazing Paper Grace August 2019 Die of the Month by Spellbinders - Elegant Knots - learn about this die at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=35219
For my card today, I thought, what should I do with all the cast offs that I had making projects all week.  I decided to add to my stash of small note cards. Today I made a small note card and matching envelope!  For the card I simply trimmed off on each edge and glued it to the front.  On my second round, I decided to wrap the motif around the card.  I did the same with the envelope.

This was a quick 5 minute treat and I think it makes for a unique and beautiful pairing.

  • Each Card is 4-3/4″ tall and 3-3/4″ wide.
  • I made the envelope with a 8″ x 8″ piece of paper, scoring from left to right at 3/4″ and 4-1/2″
  • Then I turned the paper 90 degrees clockwise and scored at 2″ and 7″
  • Next along the score lines, I cut off each corner (two little corners and 2 long corners)

Voila, an envelope.  I simply sealed it shut closing the longest edge first.
