Hi there crafty friends!  We are poised at the beginning of another month and as you may know, we’ve started to invite fellow designers to blog along with us.  Today, I’m thrilled to be introducing a new Guest Designer to the Amazing Paper Grace Blog.  She has a crisp clean style that you have no doubt come across on the internet and her placements and embellishments are always spot on.  Please help me welcome September 2019 Guest Designer – Sheri Holt.

Sheri wowed us last month by creating two amazing projects with the Amazing Paper Grace August Die of the Month for Spellbinders.  She was already signed up to be our Guest Designer for September but I can’t resist a quick peek back to show you what she made at the top of this post.  You will see that Sheri uses design paper splendidly throughout her projects. Her take on the August Die of the Month was delightful!!  During the month please be sure to take a peek at her blog every week of September 2019 for a new creation using Amazing Paper Grace dies.

For the calendar:  Don’t forget, tomorrow I’ll show you inspiration for the new September 2019 Die of the Month – it’s like a Swiss army knife – a million ways to use it.  If you are looking for the winners of the giveaway post, scroll down to the bottom of the post.

Amazing Paper Grace Guest Designer - Shari Holt.

.

Hello Amazing Paper Grace Fans! My name is Sheri Holt and I live in northeastern Oklahoma in a large suburb just outside of Tulsa with my husband where I was born and raised. I’m an empty-nester with a blended family of four adult sons and one granddaughter.

By day I am a programmer/developer at a custom box and printing company. At night you might find me adding a few vocals in my husband’s classic rock band. We love to travel as much as time allows. On the weekends I try to spend as much time as possible in my  craft room. I guess I’ve always been creative, because of the programming and singing.  I didn’t really start crafting or cardmaking until about 2011 when I fell in love with stamping and die cutting.

In my cardmaking, I usually have a very clean and crisp style because I don’t like to get too messy. I have met so many talented people on my crafting journey. I feel very fortunate to be asked to Guest Design for Becca this month.

Sheri Holt’s Cards

For her first creation for APG September Guest Designer, Sheri used the Grand Holiday Cabinet. She adorned it with flowers and bows!  Take a look!

Amazing Paper Grace Guest Designer
It’s been an amazing month graced with the beautiful, adorned cards of Ginny Nemchak.  Printed papers, flowers, wisps of fauna and vintage trinkets; each creation has been a wonderland.  Ginny’s style is so distinctly vintage and her hand made flowers were so gorgeous that they virtually created a garden for us on each card.  She made quite a few creations using the Chantilly Lace Collection – all dreamy, all romantic and all definitely vintage.

Ginny spends her time creating for several design teams and her recognizable style is every present on the internet and throughout social media.   Please continue to follow her as she spreads her down to earth, lovely style.

Today is a two post day and on this post, I want to share a recap the amazing projects Ginny shared with us!

Also, there are four winners from our last blog hop that I wanted to announce.  This afternoon, I’ll be sharing the first post from our new September Guest Designer, linked below.

Creating with Ginny Nemchak

Ginny Nemchak created this beauty as a Guest Designer for Amazing Paper Grace using Sweetheart Swirl by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders

For her most recent creation, Ginny mentioned that this was her favorite die to work with – Sweetheart Swirl.  We were enamored with the card she made – it was full of romance and lovingly adorned with sweet embellishments.

We were fortunate to have Ginny join us on our Christmas Blog hop where she shared this beautiful creation using the Grand Snow Globe.

The first thing that draws my eyes is the plaid poinsettias!  Genius!!

Ginny Nemchak created this beauty as a Guest Designer for Amazing Paper Grace using Tallulah Frill by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders

Ginny discovered and shared that the inside die cut on Tallulah Frill is the perfect 3 x 4 pocket page size for scrapbooking.  Who knew?  Lol, well now we do.  I pulled it out of my stash so that I could have it handy, just based on that tip – thanks Ginny!!

Our thanks goes out to Ginny for sharing her sweet style with us in August.  Her shabby, layered, mixed media style has been a welcome inspiration!

New Inspirations Blog Hop Featuring Holiday Vignettes by Becca Feeken - to see more go to www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p-35277
I’m so blessed today to be participating in a Spellbinders New Inspirations Blog Hop featuring my newest Christmas Collections 3D Holiday Vignettes and Glimmering Glimmer Designs.  Not only that, but a host of expert bloggers and crafters have joined in for the occasion.  I’m always bowled over when I see the creativity someone has lavished on a new design and I know this hop won’t disappoint.  Plus, there are prizes!!  I have the entire list of hops at the bottom of my post.

Shaker Card and Ornament

Today, I decided to make a Shaker Card and Matching Ornament.  Because it has a lot of area, I chose the Grand Snow Globe 3D Holiday Vignette and decked it out in cream and gold.  A layer of gold behind my cream layer is added for the extra sparkle to peek out.  I pulled out a piece of music patterned paper to give the back of the globe a little bit of contrast.

I don’t often make shaker cards but when I do, I love the experience.  The Snow Globe is begging to be made into a shaker card and the ornament is even simpler.  I filled mine with glitter glass and gold beads that are sandwiched in between two pieces of acetate and glued to open aperture pieces of the Snow Globe Die.  I cut an extra gold rim just for embellishment and then trimmed off the bottom of a gold die cut to pick up that lovely gold detail.

The card is made the same as the ornament except that I mounted it on card base and used pop dots to give it some lovely dimension.  And then, I added a pretty bow.
