Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Inspiration

Many Amazing Paper Grace followers were so thrilled when the first 3D Vignettes with word inserts came out. Over time, our followers have asked for a greater variety of words to fit into the 3D Vignette apertures. Your wish is our command!

Check your stash of 3D Vignettes. There is a sentiment vignette here to match them all!

All Beautiful Sentiment Vignette layers magnificently over S6-174 Romantic Chargeour

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection

The Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection is made up of 7 different die sets and a stamp set. Most sets contain a sentiment and a filigree background layer. Each set makes it quite easy to produce a complete card. The bonus is the sentiment shapes each match an existing 3D Vignette. Along with being able to complete a card, the new sentiments will allow another sentiment to existing 3D Vignettes already in your stash. Romantic Chargeour works with all the sentiments.

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection also contains an “inside” sentiment set that matches the thought on the outside of the card. To top off the collection we’ve included Petite Floral Potpourri. It’s a compilation of all the small flowers and leaves that are most requested by our community.

My Projects for Today

I put the final touch on the card by adding – inside – one of the matching occasion stamps from STP-058 – Beautiful Inside and Out Sentiments

And now for the best part – I pulled out one of my 3D Vignettes and used the same sentiment!! This is a mini-album that holds Starbuck Gift Cards.

For weeks and weeks during my absence, my daughter went over to my house and tended to my lawn.  I thought it would be great to give her a little something for her efforts.  Each mini-album page has a pocket and I slipped a $7.00 Starbucks card into each of the 5 pockets.  It will take her some time to work through all of the cards, so in the meantime, this little album will sit out in her home.  It will remind her to use the cards and also remind her of my gratitude for her help.

Always, when I find something I like to make, I make it many times.  This will be one of my go-to presents and the Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes will give the latitude to change it up for so many occasions!

Designers Tip: Tiny flowers are the perfect embellishment without any fuss.  Simply bend your leaves and press on each petal to give them a hint of shape and make them appear more realistic.

KUDOS on another spectacular collection! I am thrilled that these can be used with your cabinet sets too. I use all of your cabinet dies and inserts often for cards/ornaments and I have to say recipients are always thrilled when they get one of “our” cards. Thanks for making me look like a star. I have to tell you about an event three days ago…I was just over a friends house and looked in her display case and saw a card I made her using your cabinet die and Best Friend insert. I was surprised she had kept it for so long and displayed it in her cabinet. Her daughter came over to see what we were talking about and said she thought it was a piece of china her Mom had purchased years ago. She took it out and marveled at the card. Now I have to make her one! I wanted you to know the joy you have provided not just your APG peeps; but also many more who get your cards. Her granddaughter wants me to teach her how to make cards! More joy and future APG peeps.ReplyCancel

Amazing Paper Grace June 2021 Die of the Month - Victorian Splendor Slimline - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37182
Sweet friends.  So often with the Die of the Month, followers ask us to give them ideas of what can be done with the die.  Today, the Creative Team has a blog hop to share that inspiration. We are introducing a new Slimline Die that is part of an A7 Card Front – we call it an all-in-one.  Who knew that slimline could look so feminine – welcome the slim new Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for June 2021, Victorian Splendor Slimline.

Some links may be affiliate links, buying products through these links generates a commission at no cost to you.

Our inspiration is always being able to get the most out of a die set and this one scores high on the bar for functionality and feminine appeal.  If you can imagine a “Card Creator” type of die that has an inset Slimline, a decorative inset Border, and a sentiment label that could all be used in a Card Front – then you’d be looking at Victorian Splendor Slimline.  It has A2 and A7 elements.  It functions as a Card Front and pretends to be a slimline – all in one.

Here are some ideas that might inspire you to use pieces of the set:
1.  Pull the mini-sized slimline out and use it separately.
2.  Inlay the border at the bottom and top of a landscape A7 Card.
3.  Create a tall gatefold by folding in the border panel on two cuts of the A7 card front.

Amazing Paper Grace June 2021 Die of the Month - Victorian Splendor Slimline - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37182
My Project Today using Victorian Splendor Slimline.

For today I made a box (surprise)!  I always make boxes with the dies I create because I love creating ensembles.  This particular box will hold some special tea for the recipient that gets the matching gatefold card.  It was easy to make – this one is 3.25″ x 3.25″.  Give me a shout-out in the comments if you want a tutorial on this one.  To decorate it I simply glued the border die-cut to the edges – it takes two.  For the lid, I simply cut the length I needed and adhered the pieces to the top surface of the box.

Designer Tip:  The small flowers that come with the die set are so trendy.  I keep them handy and whenever I’m cutting anything, I include them on the cutting deck and save them for later.  That way, I’ll always have little flowers handy.

Inspiration for the Victorian Splendor Slimline

For the longest time, I’ve loved a tall card.  It’s simply so tempting to be able to slip a creation into a business-sized envelope.  I’m tickled this month to have achieved that goal – Victorian Splendor features a mini-slimline that’s delicate, graceful, and fits into several other categories as well.

What’s Inside the Victorian Splendor Slimline

The format for this month’s Die of the Month is an all-in-one.  It features a mini slimline, a border, and an A7 card front.  You can use each of those separately or you can nest them all inside one card front for another look altogether.  Victorian Splendor Slimline has a very delicate frame which I’ve used as part of a gatefold card and to embellish all of my makes.  The look is complete with a label that is large enough to include an entire sentiment or a one-line slogan.

This month, I’ll walk you through how to create the offset Gatefold.  It’s the first I’ve ever made and the instructions here will make it easy.

The border design is the first I’ve done in a very long time.  It really packs a punch!  I used it to create a full background by simply die-cutting one in pink and leaving the chads in place and then die-cutting one in white and getting rid of all the chads.  The white laid over the pink.  It makes for a really quick border without any fuss.

Amazing Paper Grace June 2021 Die of the Month - Victorian Splendor Slimline - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37182
For the gatefold, I used vellum paper so that you could see the subtle lines within.  This is just a little bit different from gatefold cards I’ve done in the past because the flaps overlap.

The inside is really beautiful.  I have a beautiful sentiment I’ve been saving for the right occasion, and this is it!

No month would be complete without a way to make a sophisticated looking box.  The elements from the border and slimline align to make a very special look!!
