Introducing Amazing Paper Grace Collection - Holiday Medley - more details at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37364

This magical menagerie of dies helps celebrate one of the most festive times of the year through paper crafting! The Holiday Medley Collection consists of eight die sets and a Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Set that coordinates with one of the die sets. The array of dies can be mixed within existing die sets to offer more creative options. These include the Make a Scene Card Base and 3D Vignettes. The versatile new Merry Filigree Card Builder, Celebrate Scrollwork Card Builder and Joy Crescent Card Builder sets create different card formats from A2, A7, Mini Slimline, to Slimline. Holiday Medley Inspiration

Introducing Amazing Paper Grace Collection - Holiday Medley - more details at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37364

Many Amazing Paper Grace followers have asked for additional inserts that can stand alone yet fit within existing Amazing Paper Grace Sets.  When I sat down to design this collection, that’s exactly what I had in mind.  For those who have fallen in love with 3D Vignette dimensional cards that fold flat, there are now additional sentiments to add to the base.  For those who got a kick out the the Cascade (Waterfall) Card Base there are two new 3″ shapes that fit the card base.  For those who want the ability to use the same elements for an A2, and A7 and a Slimline cards – there are three new card builders that fit the bill.  All of these make a sweet medley of elements to add to your Christmas Cards this year, but the dies can be used all year round.

My Project for Today

I’m using S5-461 Mosaic Bracket Card Builder
I’m also using GLP-280 Pinstripe Bracket Card Builder

Today I’m using two sets that I designed to use separately or use together.  I’ve combined both on one card.

I love the way both of these look together.  Pinstripes go with just about everything and they make the layering on this just click!

Amazing Paper Grace August 2021 Die of the Month - Lattice Petal Foldover - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37343
It’s a square card front! It’s an envelope! It’s both!! In the transformers world of dies, we love for our dies to be used in many different ways. This die was designed to function as both a card front and for the petals to fold over to enclose a notecard. The pretty lattice filigree is just the icing on top. Welcome to your stash, the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for August 2021 – Lattice Petal Foldover.

You asked and we listened. Our May 2020 Die of the Month was so popular that we made a slightly smaller, dainty version. The inspiration for this die set is all about the Note Card. As someone who loves to drop a little notecard into lunch boxes, drop them into packages, and even leaves them on the door for delivery people – this is quick and easy. Die-cut 10 of the lattice petal jackets and 10 of the 3″ (or 3×6 for a folded note) notes for inside and you’ll always be ready with a stunning note.

Here are some ideas that will inspire you to create with the foldover elements:
1. A box with the foldover as the lid
2. Notecards (there is even a closure piece)
3. A sweet, petite basket

My Project Today using Lattice Petal Foldover.

I couldn’t wait to turn the inlay pieces into a Christmas Ornament!!  My slimline card highlights two Christmas Ornaments hanging from bows.  I also created an “Ornament Swap”.  I simply made a little ornament (that you can write inside) and created an envelope to share it in.  (Hint:  See the video below to see how easy it is to create the envelope).

Designer Tip:  It is easiest to cut the shadow layer of the large die first then go back and cut the inlays second.  This is a die that you definitely want to emboss.

Amazing Paper Grace August 2021 Die of the Month - Lattice Petal Foldover - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37324
Happy August dear friends!  As usual, I’m excited because today we kick off a totally new Die of the Month!  August is our first hint that something other than a heatwave is coming – isn’t it okay to dream of fall?  Well, I’ve dreamed up a breezy die that can be used in so many different ways.  Have a look at the Amazing Paper Grace August 2021 Die of the Month – Lattice Petal Foldover designed for Spellbinders.  It is truly graceful and lovely and I’m excited to tell you all about it!

Inspiration for the Lattice Petal Foldover

I’m such a fan of latticework and I felt that the bends and curves of a romantic latticework were right up our alley.  It’s been bent and curved to a sultry openwork that is reminiscent of lace.  As always, there’s more than one way to put it into service – it’s brilliant as a card front but as you scroll through my post you’ll be delighted to see that it also converts into a foldover notecard and makes a stunning box bottom or box top.

What’s Inside the Lattice Petal Foldover

This die is complete with a shadow so that you can add that layer of color behind your lattice or have a solid-colored foldover envelope in your stash.  The lattice is like a pretty petticoat and is added by way of four domed lattice arches that you can add to your cut shadow.  This arrangement makes a square card or makes a square notecard but by cutting off two of the petals, you have a tall design!

I’ve played with this die extensively and I encourage you to watch this month’s video so that you can see me demonstrate the best way to cut this die.

I hope you like the video tutorial. Please subscribe to the Amazing Paper Grace YouTube Channel!

I love the textured look you achieve when crisscrossing two of the motifs!  It’s delicate and lacey and gives you yet another option.  I can’t wait to do this again except turning the design on point so that you are presented with a diamond instead of a square!

This is my very favorite part of the Lattice Petal Foldover – a notecard!!!!  I love sending notecards but don’t want to write a book!!  This fits the bill because it is small enough for a sentence or two.  Make them up ahead of time and have them on hand so that you’re ready to go!!

Amazing Paper Grace August 2021 Die of the Month - Lattice Petal Foldover - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37324Amazing Paper Grace August 2021 Die of the Month - Lattice Petal Foldover - detailed information at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=37324
No design would be complete if you couldn’t make a sweet little box from it.  It’s the perfect thing to take a box from ordinary to extraordinary!  I simply created a box top the same size as the square motif that graces the top.  Then it was so easy to score the flaps and simply let them decorate the lid sides.

Sweet friends, I’m still unpacking!  I guess that 35 years in the same place makes one collect a little bit more than they thought.  Yes, packing and unpacking is not my favorite thing to do but I’m taking the opportunity to reminisce and purge.  It feels like I’m starting all over, but instead of being fearful, it feels like a lovely opportunity.  I’ll keep you posted!
