Amazing Paper Grace July 2019 Die of the Month by Spellbinders - Graceful Concertina - learn about this die at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=35128
It’s that time again, play time!  Today I’m introducing a new Die of the Month.  The die of the month for July is Graceful Concertina and it’s unlike anything I have in my stash.  On this particular die template, there are connectors on the side so that you connect one panel to the next and the next and so on.  As always, it is set up with a rim so that you can have a shadow layer and there is a small inlay panel.

The Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team will be having an Inspiration Hop on July 10th and I have a couple of makes to show you today.

Inspiration for Graceful Concertina

For this die, I worked backward to make sure the die could be used for more than just a card.  I think it makes a beautiful card, but it also makes a beautiful card, box, votive holder, envelope and more :-)  Since the card made with this template is easy peasy, today in the video I’m sharing how to make a quick box:

Graceful Concertina Samples

This is a concertina of three panels.  It could go on and on and on :-)  I like to think it could be used to make a mini album and I’m thinking to give it a try in the near future.  In particular, I’ve been wanting to make a “10 Things I Adore About You” and I think it will be perfect!!

This a two panel-shaped card.  It’s the quickest and easiest project to make :-)

Because of all the open lacey spaces, I thought this would make a fabulous votive holder using one of those battery operated candles.  It did not disappoint and the votive creates a soft glowing romantic light.

And finally, the box.  It’s just so different from other boxes, I couldn’t resist whipping one up.

Well, that’s my shares for you with the July 2019 Die of the Month!  Pop over to the Spellbinders Blog to ——>THIS POST <——– to have a look at many more pictures of Graceful Concertina.

    Hi, Becca,
Looking at all your beautiful creations makes me soooo happy to be a Die of the Month subscriber. I love how you connected the concertina panels with ribbon (a know of a couple other methods that don’t work ;->). Thank for taking the time to make us a tutorial for the box. I made myself an instruction sheet while watching the video and am excited about making these. So many lovely things to create – so little time! Sigh…

I hate to gush but gush I must. Cole Porter said it best, “You can tell at a glance…It’s delightful, it’s delicious, it’s de-lovely”. Besides the lovely dies and tutorials you share, I look forward to your narrative. A lost art writing to connect—a beautiful way of sharing more than your creation.

I have to ask: Where you a ever a teacher? I ask because your videos are so easy to follow; spot on. Have a blessed day!ReplyCancel

Amazing Paper Grace Guest Designer - June 2019 - Kathy Clement
It’s been a stellar month with our friend Kathy Clement. She graced us with her lovely creations as she joined us as the Amazing Paper Grace Guest Designer for June.

Kathy is a master at dimensional cards with layers and folds and her creations throughout the month brought so many unique new configurations.  Kathy rocked us using elements from the Vintage Treasures collection.  It’s lovely to see them all together to get a sense of the skill and love that went into every creation.

Kathy is the member of many leading design teams and has a blog with frequent postings and hosts a site that is packed to the top with inspiration.

Kathy shared with amazing folio with us that had so much dimension.

She followed up with this detailed easel card.  It has so many sweet surprises!

We were so tickled as Kathy shared a sweet tea folio that anyone would be thrilled to receive.

And finally, an adorned notepad with sweet decorations!  The design paper is phenomenal! A heartfelt thanks to Kathy for sharing her lovely creations during June and bringing us so many new ideas on how to use the dies.
