Hi there, I’m actually back with a card.  I’ve been taking it easy for the past couple of days.  Injury to both of my shoulders finally sent me to the doctor and I had my first physical therapy this week.  Ugh, enough of that – I’ll be fine.  Today I’m using one of the new Our Daily Bread Design sets called Light – from the Full of Grace Collection  – I think this is my most favorite set this month.

I added a piece of soft vellum edged with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Border Petites over a piece French Vanilla Bazzill.  On top of that I popped up another French Vanilla panel cut with Spellbinders Curved Rectangles and stamped with the sentiment from Light.  I crossed the panel with a line of pearls, wide lace and satin ribbon before I anchored my rose.  I tucked the swirl from Spellbinders Fanciful Holiday under the rose for leaves.
Sigh . . . pink.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Light (Full of Grace Collection)
Paper:  Anna Griffin, The Paper Company – Vellum, Bazzill – French Vanilla
Ink:  Color Box Chalk Ink – Pink Rouge
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Classic Scalloped Border Petites, Spellbinders™ Curved Rectangles, Spellbinders™ Fanciful Holiday, pearls, May Arts Satin Ribbon, lace

Have a great weekend everybody!

Hi Becca – stunning as usual. That rose is absolutely beautiful – how did you make it… are you going to do or have you done a tutorial on it?

I hope your shoulders are soon feeling easier. I have a lot of aches in my left side as i had major surgery a few months ago – I had to have a thoracotomy to remove a tumor from my pleural cavity (pressed against my lung) and i’m still off work from it – loads of nerve damage and now having a treatment on it by way of a cream with chillies in – apparently the chemicals from the chillies confuses the nerve endings… crafting is painful most of the time so can only do little and often.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations.

Good morning!  I’m sharing another Christmas card today.  This one, from a new JustRite Stampers set called Vintage Christmas, features many of the traditional Christmas Symbols we’ve come to know.  I’ve paired it up with Graphic 45 paper and some embellies!   My circles are cut with Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Standard Circles Small.  I topped my medallion off with Spellbinders Lacey Circles.

I had a fun time with the inside as well.  Using a sentiment from Christmas Nested – Sentiments and Verse it’s easy to see that the verses works just as well inside as they do on the outside of the card. I used one of my favorite Spellbinders, Fancy Tags, to highlight the sentiment.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite . Vintage Christmas, Christmas Nested Sentiments and Verse
Paper:  Bazzill, Graphic 45
Ink:  Memento – Tuxedo Black, Versafine – Black Onyx
Accessories: Spellbinders™ Fancy Tags, Spellbinders™ Classic Circles Large, Spellbinders™ Classic Circles Small, Spellbinders™ Lacey Circles, Ribbon, Bling, Prima Flowers

Don’t forget, there’s a promotion going on over at the JustRite Stampers store.  Have you gotten the new catalog?  A little birdie told me you can get one free!!  Check out the details HERE.

Stay cool!!!  Se ya soon!!

Hi Becca, I’ve just stumbled onto your blog and I’m very glad I did! I can’t remember how I got here… But I just wanted to thank you for all your storeage ideas. I particularly like the ribbon one. I have a small space at the back end of our living room. It’s about the last 4 or 5 feet, and the width of the room which is about 6.5 feet….if that. But it’s my space and I love it. I also read your first comment and I find that I feel the way you do in many ways. It’s so nice to ‘meet’ someone new who feels the same. I’ll be back to drop in later.
    Take care,

Hi there.  Working on some things so have a card to share today.  I love the colors on this flower that was rescued from a bouquet in the dollar bin at Michaels.  I pulled it off the stem and filled the center with pearls – it was my inspiration today.  It’s big but it found its way into the center of my card and I still had room for a couple of other things.  I’m using a new sentiment from the August Releases with Our Daily Bread Designs set called Happy Fall.  It says "Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.  James 3:18.

I used Spellbinders Lotus Pendant to embellish the edges of my card.  For the three vertical columns I used the swirly from Fanciful Holiday and finished with a tag from Ribbon Tags Trio Two.  The little curlicue next to the tag is also a part of Fanciful Holidays.  Even though it is still hot, hot, hot, not sure if for cardmaking I’m ready to move into fall.  There’s still so much summer stamping I want to do.  Fall sure won out today :-)

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Happy Fall
Paper:  K&Co., Bazzill
Ink:  Colorbox Chalk Ink – Amber Clay
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Lotus Pendant, Spellbinders™ Ribbon Tags Trio Two, Spellbinders™ Fanciful Holiday, flower, ribbon, pearls

Back tomorrow with a card :-)
