Hi there blog friends! I’m peeking in to share a card, but first a note of thanks to you – just because. I know how blessed I am and simply cannot say it enough! It’s always like dessert to be able to sit down and play a bit so I have a quick card to share all of the details are below. For my 6 x 6 card I used two fairly new die templates – Spellbinders™ Hexagons and Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Seven – stacked. Along the side I added a decorative accent with Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Accents.

I’ve been moving some of my craft supplies around so that they’re easier for me to get to – my studio is next door. Today for the first time I have enough in the house that I don’t have to run back and forth. Perfect for me to putter around and get things done without a major production. It’s kind of crazy because I’m sitting in the area that I was sitting in more than 10 years ago when my studio was built. It’s funny how things come full circle :-)
Hugs to you all, thanks for stopping by today!!

Hello there blog friends! You know how much I love tone on tone, so today I tinkered around to see how far I could take it. Except for the taupe ink, I think I stuck to the plan! Cream is my go to color but whether cream on cream or white on white, tone on tone makes my heart sing. It’s funny because when you take the design paper out of the equation, things get easy for me – not too many choices to make. My inspiration was this new stamp set by JustRite Papercrafts called Botanical Swirls Labels. I started out with a 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ card base and since I wasn’t using design paper, I thought it a perfect opportunity to create texture with an embossing folder – Spellbinders™ Ornamental Iron. On top of the texture I layered the smallest template from Spellbinders™ Grand Decorative Ovals One. Moving up on the stack, you might find this odd, but I loved the dimension added by a Cut, Fold, and Tuck Die – this one is Spellbinders™ Carnival Dream. Okay, just one more layer (like jenga) . . . on top I positioned the largest template from Spellbinders™ Venetian Motifs.

Pearls bring just a little bit of a warm glow to the buttery hues of cream.
And then, because I very, very rarely have anything masculine to show, I set out to make a masculine bookmark. As much as I wanted to, I resisted the urge for tons of layers – I mean the book has to close, right? If there are layers and lace and bows, I’m afraid it defeats the purpose and perhaps doesn’t get used. I found a dark, distressed paper and paired it up with a hefty tassel that I got somewhere on ultra clearance. I sneaked in one pearl and one embellishment but I wouldn’t hesitate to give this to one of my guy friends. “Manly yes, but I like it too” (don’t pretend you’ve never heard that commercial old timers – I’m showing my age aren’t I? LOL!

My heart goes out to the folks over in Lousiana; hoping tomorrow finds you safe and sound. In the meantime, thanks for stopping by today!!

Very pretty card Becca, as always! I can only imagine how nice it must be to have everything at hand. Sometimes I have to go to several spots in our house to gather what I need for a project….boils down to ‘I can’t believe how MUCH STUFF I have’!!!! Amazing!

Hi Becca – I love seeing the way you used the new templates – it is always so inspiring, you layer like no-one else can! Gorgeous colours and details! I am sure you are loving having everything on hand – so much easier!! God bless you Becca – you are a blessing to so many of us! {{{hugs}}}
Very pretty. It is nice to feel organized and able to find the things one needs right when they are needed! Makes creativity flow better, doesn’t it? I also want to tell you how much I enjoyed making the projects in my first kit. I played “show ‘n tell” often with it and everyone loved both projects. I am really looking forward to the arrival of the October kit. Thanks again and again for sharing your tallents with all. God blessyou.
how about a God box for anyone of any religion? Your work is beautiful as usual.

Absolutely STUNNING. I can well imagine the impact your card would have on a recipient no matter what their circumstances – blessings, love and healing in an envelope. You have something very special Becca and you are so generous with your gift. I thank God for you and your wonderful blog.

I can only say ditto to Mary Mac’s comment. loved the first kit and am Looking forward to the next one. God’s blessings,Rebya
Becca, I am thankful for you and the gift that God has given you to bless us your readers. I have learned how to make bows from you. I have scoured the 2nd hand stores and found tons of ribbon sources, buttons and my fondness of spellbinders has increased from your creativity. I love that you give thanks to the Lord and are not afraid to proclaim his Word and His protection of you. Thanks for another card to view this morning and inspiration on how I can follow your example to make a card and encourage someone else and remind them that they are not alone and they can turn for help to the One who can meet their needs.
HAHA! It is funny, isn’t it??
Thanks for another gorgeous card, Becca. You truly inspire!
Lorrayne said it all. I agree. God bless you and your family.
Loved seeing your new stuff. Havent been by for a while so I was really tickled at all you have done. I love the sewing gifts that you had made they are super! Congradts on all that you have been able to accomplish!
Girlfriend, I have missed you being away for a week or so. While I was visiting my sister in Ohio I introduced you to her. She was absolutely estatic. My neice bought a Spellbinder because I had took mine and she was amazed at it. I bought her a die set she wanted for her birthday and she bought a couple. She enjoyed cutting and embossing with my “stash” while I was there.
This is one beautiful card = a little different from your usual pastel and neutral tones but truly beautiful. Hope you will be back on a daily basis as I absolutely look so forward to an email from you each day. God Bless You, Becca.

Been there-done that with the moving things around!(:(: Now that I can no longer walk, I need everything in big piles in our former dining room so I can get to it all to play after a short trip on the walker.
I’m truly blessed by a helpful and caring husband who stops by periodically while I’m creating to see if I need anything!

Another beautiful card. So looking forward to the Oct kit. I have a craft room/studio, and it’s like a dose of therapy when I am in there creating.
