Hello Friend

Friendship Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Silhouette - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning friends, fresh air, outside, breathing it in!  I’m up from the craft table today and away, so today’s post is short.  Always in need of a “Friend” card in my stash, today I’m sharing an all die cut card, no stamps, no coloring.  Sometimes I think that makes for a quick assembly :-)  The Silhouette is so very classic and is smack dab in the middle of my style and is surely a good choice for a girly card.

Friendship Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Silhouette - www.amazingpapergrace.com
I started out with a 6″ x 6″ card base and added a vintage musical paper that is matted with kraft colored paper.  On top of that I added Spellbinders Grand Stately Circles in black and another circle on top with pink striped digital paper.  I followed that with the laurel leaves from Spellbinders Royal Medallions also cut in kraft colored paper.   The pretty detail of the oval from Spellbinders Elegant Ovals is a great base to show off my cameo cut with Spellbinders Silhouette.  I finished up with a hand cut banner, pointed on the ends and added Spellbinders Celebration Two.

Today is a change of pace for me with colors.  Aww yep, pink got worked in but I wanted to pull out some black cardstock and give it a go.  I love the way colors pop with a black backdrop.

Beautiful card! You make me think that I should put together
some girlfriend cards to have on hand.
Breath deeply while your outside, I live in central WA and our visibility is down to 1/2 mile due to smoke from all the fires, we are heading to our 2nd week of unhealthy air quality, what I wouldn’t give to be somewhere with fresh air, blue skies and a nice walk out doors!!!
    Have a great weekend!ReplyCancel

Stay safe…I know it is bad there. We are west of Portland and our air is really sucky today. We’ve had some haze lately but really bad today. I love your area…praying for you and your firefighters.

Holy moly, that is a stunning card, Ms. Becca! I love the black, tan, and pink together. Wow! I have the silhouette, and haven’t used it yet. Now I may have to play with it a bit. I’m thinking wedge wood look and maybe using dark blue as you have the black. Thanks for the inspiration!

What a lovely card and color combo would not think of using blk. with kraft but like it. I have a silhouette die cut not spellbinders this would be a good way to use it. Enjoy the weekend.ReplyCancel
