Sweet friends it’s a glorious morning!  I’m so tickled to share something with you today that is truly from my heart (and stick around, a surprise at the bottom of my post, a video link and a contest).  Years ago I sketched out an idea on my desk and hoped and dreamed that one day I’d have to the tool in hand to create with.  Today, that idea is here – it became the Graceful Frame Maker.  It survived all my silly doubts and  thoughts that people would think it was positively dumb and is a reminder to me to keep plugging along.  The pieces of this card – the four pieces of my frame – have hung on my cabinet for the last two and a half years . . . reminding me to keep trying.   It gives me a lot of joy to finally make it into a card and now I have the die that makes creating the card easy; today I’m so tickled to show you what inspired it all!

This Spellbinders Wrought Iron Die had been languishing in my stash – when I looked through the rest of the stash of dies I already owned, I realized how many of then could be used/repurposed the same way, to create a background or frame!  I paired it with a Quietfire Design sentiment – Follow Your Dreams. Oh, how I love this frame!  How many of your dies are just waiting to be transformed?

What lovely pictures of you and your craft room in the sneak peek. I Can’t wait to see more of the Vintage Elegance collection, particularly the pockets and the mini booklet, since I make a specialty card that can be ‘signed’ by large groups of people and I am always on the look out for design ideas for the pockets/sleeves/boxes/envelopes that hold notes that people sign.
    Love and blessings,
