Elegant Twist Die Collection by Amazing Paper Grace

It’s time to introduce another new collection from Amazing Paper Grace. Whether your handmade cards are made up of detailed die-cuts or clean and simple die-cuts, we all have something in common – we love to start with a base shape, introducing Elegant Twist!

The newest Classic Die Collection from Amazing Paper Grace is the Elegant Twist Collection. It is a classic set of Rectangles, Squares, Circles, and Ovals with a curvy elongated bordering pattern that reminds us of the undulating pattern of a rope and that’s where it gets its name. Elegant Twist gives you an elegant twisted border base shape to either stamp on or layer on.

Inspiration for Elegant Twist

This unique rope inspired pattern has been in my sketchbook for some time, I’m tickled to bring it to life. The motif is so romantic and draws the eye toward the center of the design. Or do you see something more masculine or nautical?  Beyond what meets the eye, Elegant Twist has a twist! By simply placing two of the same designs back to back, you get a lovely criss-cross pattern!

Elegant Twist is designed to layer or pair with the other classic finishes in the Hemstitch Classic Collection and the Candlewick Classic Collection. The Elegant Twist set features 7 dies that allow you to have either a frame or a filled-in bordered design. All in all, the Elegant Twist Collection is something different to give your cards or panels a unique flair.

My Project For Today:

I’m so pleased to introduce S5-426 Splendid Trilliant

Splendid Trilliant is a “showpiece die”.  It’s meant to be on top and be in the center focally.   For my cards today I chose to go with one motif although it would be dazzling to criss-cross the motifs for a background look.  What works here is the layers :-) Building up from a larger panel to successively smaller panels and ending with the Splendid Trilliant on top. In addition, there’s a beautiful page corner with a decorative inlay that gives just the right amount of decoration for a bottom layer as I’ve done on my second card.

I always try a card in gold and cream first.  In my mind, the classic beauty always shows up in those colors.  Once I have them behind me, I have a great idea of what color combinations will yield

You’ve done it again Becca – absolutely gorgeous! I’ve looked at all your design team, who have created such beautiful projects too. You never cease to amaze with your different designs every month, which are always stunning.
It’s a shame your design team don’t use the same type of comment box as you, since none of their sites accept my comments. I type in a comment, click ‘publish’ but it never actually publishes. C’est la vie!

The Elegant Twist collection is a definite winner and maybe your best collection yet! Due to the versatility, timelessness and beauty of this collection, it is an absolute purchase necessity for my stash.
In addition to the beauty of all your dies, I appreciate that this collection layers with other coordinating die shapes not only within this collection but with other collections (i.e., cabinets, glimmer plates, and other shaped dies). I think we will have endless composition possibilities when combining this and other collection that will produce gorgeous, elegant and timeless projects.
I am just getting into the Hot Foil Glimmer possibilities and love to see you have a coordinating glimmer plate for this collection. In future I would love to see more corner dies like Splendid Trilliant (S5-426) has and add a glimmer plate fo the corner die(s).ReplyCancel
