Splitcoast Fan Club Challenges

Did you know that it’s time again for the Dare to Get Dirty Challenge on Splitcoast for the Fan Club.  What’s that you say?  The Fan Club is a membership area of Splitcoaststampers that give you access to a premium gallery influenced by the Splitcoaststampers Design Team – The Dirty Dozen.  If you are not already a member, this is a great time to jump in!

Well every year about this time the  Dirty Dozen current and Dirty Dozen Alumni, get together to present several days worth of challenges.  This year some of the challenges are retro (reinvented from old challenges), some are new challenges and some are sketch challenges.  I’m even hostessing a challenge called Cut it Out – my challenge is to use punches or die cuts.  The cool thing is that challenges can be combined.

The card above is my sample for the Cut It Out Challenge.  I picked a sweetest sentiment from Quietfire Design and some flowers that I colored in with Tombow markers. My stacked up series of die cuts qualifies me for the challenge.  Using Spellbinders Curved Rectangles, I stacked on top of it with Spellbinders Lattice Borderabilities and finished it off with Spellbinders Labels 5

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Quietfire Design
Paper:  K & Co., The Paper Company
Ink:  Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories:  Spellbinders Curved Rectangles, Spellbinders Lattice Borderabilities, Spellbinders Labels 5, Ribbon, Pearls

I hope you’ll join into the challenges, this was a fun one for me.

Oh YUM! I just love how you take those elegant Quietfire stamps and make them the focal point of your stunningly beautiful cards. I am also impressed with how you combine and layer the Nesties. The curved rectangles are one of my favorites, too. Thanks and Happy Weekend!ReplyCancel

I had just said to myself that I would save my money for Labels 6 & Labels 9….I don’t need anymore than that….Came here next & saw how you’ve paired Labels 5 with Curved Rectangles (which I had previously told myself I did not need). I better get a job! :) Thanks for your beautiful work…very inspiring!ReplyCancel
