Snowmen Gather Near

I’m getting sad because my month as the Guest Designer at I{Heart}2Stamp is flying by!!   Today’s Sketch For You To Try is a fabulous one!   I made a card for the new sketch (which you can see exclusively HERE) and I fell so in love with the sketch that I decided to make another one which I’m showing here today.  Since last week I played along with a Splitcoast Challenge using red, black and kraft paper, I am simply addicted to kraft right now, when you see both cards, you’ll see I’m not kidding  ;)

This isn’t my normal style but I had fun with this card and love smudging the dark ink on everything to distress it.   Otherwise, not much went into this other than picking the papers.  The image is colored in with Prismacolor Pencils – no solvent.  I didn’t want to think about it too hard so this coloring took about 3.5 minutes!   The design is finished off with a snowflake medley using Spellbinders Snowflake Wonder and Spellbinders Doodle Parts.

Recipe:
Stamps:  Inky Antics
Paper:  My Minds Eye – Signature Christmas, Die Cuts with a View – Glitter Christmas, Bazzill, Kraft
Ink:  Black Brilliance, Distress Vintage Photo
Accessories:  Spellbinders Doodle Parts, Spellbinders Snowflake Wonder, Me and My Big Ideas Snowflakes, Brads, Ribbon, EK Success Snowflake punch,

Thanks for stopping by!!

This is absolutely stunning! I love it! I love the color choices, the layout, and those fabulous embellishments. I wanted you to know I’ve nominated you for the Kreativ Blogger Award. Please don’t feel like you have to play along. But I had to choose 5 nominees for this award and I really felt I had to focus on the word ‘Creative’ and pick the blogs that I felt were the most creative, and yours is definately one of them! You can read more about it on my blog if your interested.ReplyCancel

You are so right, this isn’t your normal style. As I was quickly “google reading” and not really looking at ownership (sorry) I thought “I love this card. This may not be their style, but maybe they should change!” Well, when I saw it was you my first thought was “no, don’t change!” But then I thought that I should have known. You are genius no matter what you try! I love this card Becca. It is just adorable!ReplyCancel
