Sharing What Was Shared

Before the holidays are too far behind, I wanted to share two lovely cards that were sent to me by fellow stampers.  The first is from a wonderful woman by the name of Elaine who frequents my blog.  Her card is simply stunning and it honestly takes your breath away in real life.  Oh Elaine, I received your card!!  If you could leave a comment and give us all the deets on this lovely creation – I’m sure many would appreciate it.

The second card is from my dear friend Janine at 2bKrafty.  This tree is so gorgeous and sparkly!  I didn’t realize it, but I have that Penny Black  stamp in my stash and I’ve never made it look as fabulous as this.

Thank you ladies!!!  I was only to happy to find a home for these lovely cards!

Well my goodness! I was so surprised to see my card on your blog! You asked for the deets – they are embarrassingly simple – they had to be for as many as I needed to send out.

    The card is 5″ X 7″.

The background was from “Love to Stamp” – it’s a large frame that I’d had for ages but hadn’t known what to do with it. The center stamp is from Inkadinkado.

Both were stamped with VersaMark and embossed in Detail Gold ep on Sandstone Sparkles-Crushed Leaf Cover stock from Paper Zone.

The center stamp was mounted on black glossy and then mounted on the frame stamp. The card portion was a gold sparkle paper also from Paper Zone. They make so many different color choices – I used a green, blue, red and gold (but all were heavily starkled in gold) to put some variety in the cards going out.

And that’s it – very very simple.

I am so blessed that you enjoyed it
