Hi there friends. I pulled something out of my “didn’t work before” pile and finished it up. I had a time yesterday, for what ever reason I couldn’t sit for more than 5 minutes because my leg and hip hurt. That’s a new one on me. Standing wasn’t too bad, but sitting, not so much. I’m not lucky enough to be able to lounge and read or surf because I simply go to sleep. Needless to say, I had a restful day yesterday and am off to a good start today!! This is a new Our Daily Bread Designs sentiment called Kind Hearts that I was working with a couple of weeks ago and set aside. Today it finally found its home on a card base.
For my medallion I layered a piece of Spellbinders Parisian Accents (used two pieces, each cut in half) behind Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles. I tied a Figure Eight Loops Bow and seated a sweet flower head in the center. I finished off with a spray of Zva Creative Pearls.
SUPPLIES I USED |
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs – Kind Hearts Paper: Bazzill, DP Unknown Ink: Colorbox Chalk Ink – Dark Moss Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles, Spellbinders Parisian Accents, Spellbinders Classic Rectangles SM, Recollections pearls, Zva Creative Pearls, Jolee’s Flower, Martha Stewart Scallop Punch. |
Have a great day friends!!
Love it. Blessings in your day, Becca!
Oh how beautiful it is so elegant and timeless. I love it.
This is stunning Becca, such a lovely color combination. Another gorgeous bow, which I think brings the whole thing together. As always Becca, TFS!!!
:-D
What a lovely card! The subtle colors just augment the timeless sentiment. This card is a treasure!
Love how you matted the sentiment panel. Gorgeous soft feel to this card.
Becca, of the 3 layers of Spellbinders, what is the name of the Moss colored Spellbinder that’s at the bottom of this stack? The dies you listed in the “Accessories” only lists Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles and Spellbinders Classic Rectangles SM (which I recognize in the photo), but I don’t know the name of the bottom Spellbinders piece and would love to order it.
Thank you! Your card is so very beautiful and quite inspirational.
What a great card.
Oh, Becca, what a sweet, delicate looking card! LOVE it! I do have a question, though — what do you use to attach your flowers to your bows, especially the bigger flowers?
Your card is so beautiful! I am so glad you didn’t give up on it.
Thank you for sharing! :)
I love everything about this card! The sentiment, colors and combination are all just gorgeous…you are an amazing card crafter Becca!!
Becca this is a beautiful card. I have been meaning to say this to you for a couple of weeks so I hope you don’t mind me bringing it up. You have been in my thoughts a lot lately. I know it is quite an adjustment to continue on with life after losing someone you love. I send prayers up for you. You are a beautiful person inside and out.

Oh Becca, I just love this card; each and every detail is perfect. It’s so light and frothy. I’m so glad it made it from your “didn’t work before” pile to your blog where we can all enjoy it.
Many thanks for being who you are and sharing yourself and work with us. Hope you are feeling top of the world and that the pesky hip and leg are resolved.
Becca, this is just gorgeous!!!! The sentiment is so beautifuly and the colors you chose are exquisite! Thank you and Thank God for allowing you to share your talents with us!
Is that background stamped? It’s stunning!
Becca It was a surprise to find a beige card and not a pink one. But i do
love this card, colors and all. Glad you brought it out to work on it again.
Just by looking at it, you can tell its a BECCA card. They always have that
special look to them. Thank you for showing us the card.

BECCA! This is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would make a WONDERFUL WEDDING CARD, with the lacey look it has!!!!! The medallion you made is BEAUTIFUL too!!!!!! SUPER JOB!!!!!! SIGH!!! :)
Becca,
That’s another beautiful card. I love it! …Julie
Gorgeous card Becca! I LOVE that sentiment :)
That is so lovely – wow – all your work gives me that wow when I look at it.
The card is gorgeous. Pretty colors & a beautiful sentiment. If your leg & hip hurt only while sitting, it must be due to a nerve that’s experiencing pressure. Make sure you’re sitting on a soft cushion & try shifting your position. I often have this problem & it’s often due to what I’m sitting on.
Oh Becca, that is so pretty! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing design! I love the colors and the sentiment. Have a great day!
Hope the hip feels better.
Your card is gorgeous, Becca!
Hugs, Candy
Oh sooooooo BEAUTIFUL!
Beautiful! Oh and such pretty colours Becca…that is such a wonderful sentiment too.
Do hope your pain goes away soon.
Love Sheila xx

Beautiful card!
Card colors I found myself liking lately, violet, lettuce green, and white.
Maybe it “didn’t work before”, Becca, but it sure did this time!!! Lovely card!
How true those words are. Another wonderful card Becca.
Just as I started to watch today’s video, my Amazon order came with my Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Keurig K-cups which you MADE me order! LOL! Oh, so yummy! You’ve hit another grand slam!
I’m so glad you retirved it from your “didn’t work before”. It is absolutely beautiful. Love those colors and papers. I love that sentiment, the bow, flower and pearls are delightful compliments to it. Be well.
Blessings Bernie
Beautiful! However I’m very intriqued about how you went about cutting 2 Parisian Accents in half to go behind the fleur de lis rectangles? Hmmmmm!
I can’t imagine something not working for you…you definitely are gifted. Your card is lovely. ;)
I don’t know why it didn’t work before, but you would find a way to make it work regardless. Hope you’re feeling better today.
This is a beautiful card. You amaze me with all the creativity.
What a beautiful sentiment. I love your feminine, beautiful cards.
I just love your work – you are a very talented lady – if you don’t mind I think I will follow you and learn all I can.

Classy!
Simple but lovely! Your cards are so elegant. What a treat to see them every day.
ccents die after seeing the wonderful layers on this card, but can’t work out how to cut to make the layer.I am guessing it might be the top square die in the pack cut on the diagonal? I would love to know if that is correct please, LOL!
You have an amazing gift that you share, thank you so much!
This is one of the most beautiful cards you have made, Becca. I like the color (I hope you make more cards in this very refreshing color) and all the elements. Upon seeing this card, I was prompted to buy the dies that you used.
Very pretty card – I love this new stamp saying!
Glad you are feeling better. I spent the day in bed with back problems so I know how you feel. Another beautiful card Becca and I love that sentiment.
Liebe Becca,
diese Karte ist wieder ein Traum geworden.
Gute Besserung wünsche ich Dir.
LG Eve
Becca, This is a truly beautiful card. I am trying to figure out what punch you used for the scallop edging. I have the Martha scallop arc, but what did you use for the plain scallop underneath?? Another elegant card! Thank you!!!!
Beautiful card!
Your work is so beautiful. How do you mail the cards so that they do not get destroyed?
Beautiful card, I love the dies you used, and the DP.
Becca, what size is this card….it is so gorgeous…love the colors…it is so soft and elegant. Thanks for all you do.
I love those words and I would use them often on my cards. I love that card you made Becca, so elegant!
LOL Eileen
Gorgeous card Becca! I love the layout, design paper, and of course the dies, my favorites! The colors are so soft and nice, it’s just a stunningly elegant card.
