Kind Hearts

Hi there friends.  I pulled something out of my “didn’t work before” pile and finished it up.  I had a time yesterday, for what ever reason I couldn’t sit for more than 5 minutes because my leg and hip hurt.  That’s a new one on me.  Standing wasn’t too bad, but sitting, not so much.  I’m not lucky enough to be able to lounge and read or surf because I simply go to sleep.   Needless to say, I had a restful day yesterday and am off to a good start today!!  This is a new Our Daily Bread Designs sentiment called Kind Hearts that I was working with a couple of weeks ago and set aside.  Today it finally found its home on a card base.

For my medallion I layered a piece of Spellbinders Parisian Accents (used two pieces, each cut in half) behind Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles.  I tied a Figure Eight Loops Bow and seated a sweet flower head in the center.   I finished off with a spray of Zva Creative Pearls.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Our Daily Bread DesignsKind Hearts
Paper:  Bazzill, DP Unknown
Ink: Colorbox Chalk Ink – Dark Moss
Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles, Spellbinders Parisian Accents, Spellbinders Classic Rectangles SM, Recollections pearls, Zva Creative Pearls, Jolee’s Flower, Martha Stewart Scallop Punch.

Have a great day friends!!

Becca, of the 3 layers of Spellbinders, what is the name of the Moss colored Spellbinder that’s at the bottom of this stack? The dies you listed in the “Accessories” only lists Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles and Spellbinders Classic Rectangles SM (which I recognize in the photo), but I don’t know the name of the bottom Spellbinders piece and would love to order it.

Thank you! Your card is so very beautiful and quite inspirational.ReplyCancel

The card is gorgeous. Pretty colors & a beautiful sentiment. If your leg & hip hurt only while sitting, it must be due to a nerve that’s experiencing pressure. Make sure you’re sitting on a soft cushion & try shifting your position. I often have this problem & it’s often due to what I’m sitting on.ReplyCancel

ccents die after seeing the wonderful layers on this card, but can’t work out how to cut to make the layer.I am guessing it might be the top square die in the pack cut on the diagonal? I would love to know if that is correct please, LOL!
