Waltzingmouse Stamps October Release – Blog Waltz

It’s here!  Release Day of all six new sets the design team has been previewing this week for Waltzingmouse Stamps.  Yes, the Design Team has a Blog Waltz today, so if you are coming to me from Tosha’s blog, you’re in the right place.  If you popped in and want to find out how to go through the entire blog, pop over to Clair
e’s blog where the Waltz begins and also where there is a list of all the participants.   These sets are too cool for school!!  Today we’re showing samples made using Candy Jar Christmas and Candy Jar Christmas Fillers.  The sets are huge and there are so many possible combinations of stamps that you’ll never run out of choices!!  If you’d like the see the sets in their entirety, just pop over to the Waltzingmouse Stamps Store, because they are available for purchase today.  The sets released earlier this week were: Seasonal Remedies, Nordic Winter, 2011 Holiday Ornaments, Santa’s Coming to Town

In my cupboard I had some gourmet hot cocoa’s that came in cute little packages.  Unfortunately when I opened them pulling the tape off marred the package so I couldn’t really give them as a gift.  When I saw this set, I knew it would be a wonderful way to repackage my Gingerbread Hot Cocoa, Peppermint Candy Hot Cocoa, and Smores Hot Cocoa!  I had a canning jar holder that fit four small jars so I filled up three with the hot cocoa mix and one with peppermint candies and made a tag for each.  I’ll be able to give them as a group or individually.  I think the candy jar is one of my new favorites!!

I put a small label on the back of each tag to identify the flavors of the cocoa

This is the holder with the gifties removed.

Well, it’s time for me to send you on your way – the next stop after me is Clare Buswell!

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps – Candy Jar Christmas, Candy Jar Christmas Fillers
Paper: Neenah Classic Cream, The Paper Company, PTI Kraft, K and Co.
Ink:Colorbox Chalk Ink – Warm Red, Charcoal
Accessories  Spellbinders Labels Eighteen, Spellbinders Labels Ten, Sepllbinders Ribbon Banners, Seam Binding, Gingham Button,

Be sure you hop to all the others on the design team.  A prize is hidden amongst us and the winning entry will be pulled from one of the comment on one of the Design Teams Blogs.  The more you comment, the better your chances of winning.  You have until October 17th to comment and a winner will be picked on October 18th.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

  • Edna CovaOctober 17, 2011 - 10:46 pm

    Hello Becca,

First of all I want you to know that I seldom let a day go by without visiting your site. You are my favorite card maker ever.

Anyway, I have a spellbinders question. I love their stuff mostly because I love your cards. I just purchased the Holly Motifs. I have tried everything and cannot get the paper out of the die once I die cut it. I have tried spraying the paper and dye with PAM, I tried the stuff you use to unstick punches, and different papers. No luck. I have had the same problem with other dies where the design is really fine. I am not even sure I can return the die, and don’t want to because it is beautiful, but feel at a loss. I thought you might be able to help…

    Thanks,

    Edna Cova
