There’s Still Time

Hi there blog friends – there’s still time . . .  Waltzingmouse Stamps just celebrated their 100th sketch challenge and there’s a celebration going on.  All the wonderful details are at this post of Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge Blog – HERE.  The sketch is a marvelous one and you have until Friday, June 8th if you’d like to give it a whirl and upload it on the InLinkz in the post I mentioned.  There are lots of prizes to be had and of course the more the merrier.  The sketch was right up my alley, I pulled out couple of my favorite die templates and shuffled them around to match the sketch.

I layered Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM along with Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Tags and Accents then stamped my sentiment on a strip embellished with Spellbinders™ Nested Pendants.  Following along with the rest of the sketch  I used vintage embroidered ribbon, burlap ribbon and lace as my cross piece and used satin ribbon for my vertical piece.  I tied a triple bow on the 2.5″ setting on the Peg Bow Maker and finished off with filigree and a button brad flanked by one of my handmade pics.  Lastly, I used linen thread to crochet a little medallion to sit on the end of the pennant.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps:  Waltzingmouse StampsVintage Circles SM, Afternoon Tea Sentiments
Paper: DP given to me, don’t know name but I love it!!  DCWV card base, Neenah Classic Crest Cream, Coredinations
Ink:  Versafine – Vintage Sepia
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM,  Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Tags and AccentsSpellbinders™ Nested Pendants , satin ribbon, lace, burlap ribbon, linen thread, Peg Bow Maker

There is also still time to pop by and leave your name in the running for the TapeOnLine clear cases.  Just click HERE to get back to the correct post.TapeOnline.com

Hugs to you all!!  Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!!

Dear Becca, I want to tell you how much I love your cards, they are so beautiful, I try so hard to make them and they never, never look like yours, I think one of the problems for me is I am always guessing on the size of your cards. I know they are usually large but when I go to make them, they just don’t look as beautiful as yours. Could you put the sizes of the cards on your site. I look forward to seeing your cards when ever they are posted and in fact I show them to everyone. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us web friends.ReplyCancel
