S4-209 Tulip Pendant

LF-168 Grand Large Labels

So let me tell you a little bit about the project I worked up with these wonderful templates.  I broke out spring colors and decided to make a set of spring cards and a gift box to keep them in.  The gift box uses LF-168 Grand Large Labels for the base and for the lid as well as the layers on the lid.  On top of the box I’ve crafted a half honeycomb ornament with tissue paper stamped with a gingham stamp in the matching color.  Each card is constructed with a card base made from LF-168 Grand Large Labels and layered with  S4-209 Tulip Pendant.  Each Tulip Pendant is backed with a gingham circle,  so that the gingham peeks through and topped with a stamped sentiment using Labels One.

Below you can see the cards nestled in the box.  The ribbon used on the project was simply fabric that I tore strips from then tied in bows.

Below is a close up of the half honeycomb ornament.  It uses about 14 of the S4-209 Tulip Pendants glued together – a tutorial for the honeycomb ornament can be found under the tutorials section of my blog.

One good turn deserves another!  The card was sooo sweet that I made it three additional colors!!  There are four cards in each set (three shown here)

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Printworks, Impression-Obsession Gingham Background
Paper: Xpedix White Cardstock, tissue paper
Ink: G Studios Dye Based Inks
Accessories:
S4-209 Tulip Pendant, LF-168 Grand Large Labels,
LF-114 Grand Circles, S4-161 Labels One, S4-322 Grommet Tags, Ribbon made from fabric strips, Pearls, glue dots
