Hi there friends, popping in quickly to show you a little something I made up for friends.  They are new parents who are going to be buying lots of diapers soon!  I’ve been told that after the baby shower is over and the new parents have all of their equipment needs met, the best thing you can do is give them gift cards for diapers.  I reached for Spellbinder S5-289 Filigree Booklet die along with Spellbinders S4-730 Filigree Pocket to make a sweet gift card holder, as a decorative way to deliver my gift.  Since I used the outer cover, the finished size is 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″.

Please Note:  The Booklet die has been out of stock for some time and as I understand from Spellbinders, it is to be back in stock some time today.

The perfect embellishment for the gift card caddy, on the front or the inside are the Spellbinders S3-251 Fold and Go Flowers because they are pretty, decorative and can be flattened.  I added two with double sided paper and love the way they turned out.  For five minutes of my time, I know this will come in handy.  Yep, this makes me smile!!

    Hi Becca!
This is a wonderful way to present gift cards, especially to new parents! Love the lacy pockets inside. So much nicer than plain ones. I agree about the comments about the diapers. But even more expensive? Formula for those who can’t breastfeed!ReplyCancel

Hi Becca, What a great gift card booklet, and also a great idea. Whatever happened to towelling nappies, I’m showing my age now haha, but at least you could wash them over and over again, whereas nowadays the disposal ones all end up in landfill, I know they are much easier but I used to love hanging my nappies out on the line every day and watching them blow in the wind, it was comforting haha, small things please me hahahahaha.
Lots of love from Patricia xxReplyCancel
