Just a Note

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Papercraft Just A Note Vintage Sentiment Tags
Hey there friends!  I have another card to show today and although it has a bow, it’s a teensy bit on the masculine side with masculine colors, kraft paper, a little bit of distressing and no pearls.  I get many requests for masculine cards and have to admit that it’s the type of card I make the least.  I love to shower my kids with an occasional card out of the blue, so this one is meant for my sweet son.  I talked to him on the phone yesterday and am so impressed with how he has grown into a young, respectful man.  He’s far enough away that he escapes my constant worry and advice yet his head is on so straight – amazing how that happens.

I always jump at the chance to use an embossing folder so I pulled out Spellbinders Numbers and Letters – it fit into the theme so well.  On top of that I layered Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight and Spellbinders Filigree Delight.  I finished off with Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags.

    Hello Becca
Thank you for some more inspiration for a more masculine card!
I sometimes struggle with those and tend to just leave the bow off hoping that will do!
Seeing yours makes me have second thoughts…… so I will try to copy this card with the tools I have to hand.
    Thank you
    Love MargReplyCancel
