Good morning sweet friends! I’m popping in to share a quick personal project I made . . . because sometimes we turn our crafty endeavors to decorating our homes, right? So this is a picture of my sweet girl and this is her college graduation picture; believe it or not, this is one I didn’t have sitting out at home. I picked up this very inexpensive frame at the place that literally extracts all the money from my wallet, it’s my Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory kind of place otherwise known as Ikea. The white metal frame is very pretty but I wanted to spice it up a little bit, so I simply used Spellbinders Swirl Bliss Pocket (eek, one of my new Amazing Paper Grace line of dies) to frame the picture. Since this year has been one of flowers for me, I made a batch of flowers using Spellbinders Garden Blooms (by A Gilded Life) to embellished the frame.
This was a quick an easy project that slow me completed in less than an hour! I simply printed her picture with my Inkjet Printer, cut it to size, inserted the Swirls Bliss Folder die at the top and bottom of the picture before inserting into frame. I hot glued the bows and flowers into place and finished with a corsage pin and a tiny little tassel :-) So much of what I make leaves the house, so every once in a while, I’m tickled that a piece that gets to stay and reminds me of those I love (gush).
Tomorrow I’ll be back with some new items that landed at my house from Quietfire Design! I hope you’ll stop by and see!
Question Parking Lot:
Many of you have asked where to get my dies. They are currently in the Spellbinders store for order :-). The best source for up-to-date information is Spellbinders customer service (contact information HERE at the bottom of the page) when you have questions about items in stock and anticipated shipping dates.
Such a beautiful frame in its own right but beautifully enhanced by your hand. You have a beautiful Daughter, congratulations on her graduation.
Love & Hugs

What a wonderful way to showcase your beautiful daughter at such a momentous time in her life! She will be smiling at you from beneath that bouquet forever!
Your daughter is beautiful and looks like her mama! :) Isn’t IKEA wonderful?! Good thing it takes over ½ and hour to get there–LOL! Just love the frame and how you embellished it. It is so pretty!
Beautiful card love the dies and the layering is perfect. thanks for sharing.
Definitely two peas from the same pod!!! It’s lovey to see a picture of your daughter since we have heard so much about her. Fabulous project and certainly giving us all some ideas.
Gorgeous! She looks too young to be graduating college! Love how you did the flowers–did you score the petals, or fan fold them? They are so pretty. How about a Tut on them, if you haven’t already? The color is awesome, too.
I love this. Great idea and a special picture of your beautiful daughter.
Wow Becca; she sure looks like her Momma!! Pretty girl. I just got the last three of your new dies. Oh my they are just wonderful. Have all 4 now wahoo!!!! Thanks for sharing this.
What a beautiful frame for your beautiful daughter!
Two things are now on my “to do” list. First, I need to order one of your new dies. Second, I need to go to Ikea. I happen to have a number of photos that I actually took out of the clunky table frames they were in hoping I would find something more befitting to my Shabby Chic bedroom. This will be perfect! You are always so inspiring. However slow you may think you go… I don’t know how you manage to do so much! (P.S. I knew immediately that the photo was of your very own lovely daughter… couldn’t be anyone else.)
Lovely Frame! BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER! Could you please share how you created the gorgeous flowers!
Just BEAUTIFUL Becca! I’m SURE your daughter likes you using her for a project like this! ;)
Congratulations to you and your daughter! The frame is beautiful and the Spellbinders sets her picture off beautifully. Would be great is Spellbinders had a die like that frame! When I go to Ikea it is an all day event because there is so much to see. This is a beautiful keepsake.

Beautiful frame Becca. I know your beautiful daughter might not like me stating that she looks like she’s graduating high school, but she will love that when she is much older! Love your creativity. Hugs

A beautiful frame for a beautiful, sweet girl! I would love to have an Ikea here… or maybe not. Our local paper crafts store extracts plenty from my wallet as it is!
Hi Becca. What a gorgeous daughter you have, and a beautiful picture frame to put her photo in. I love how you have embellished the frame, the flowers are lovely. Take care.
I think the framed picture of your daughter is really so pretty and she is even prettier. You did a fantastic job of fixing it up and making it real.. You must feel so happy that she’s completed college and has an education to give her a step up for her future. It’s always a concern when you have children and feel concerns for their future.
Your work grows more beautiful by the day.
Wishing you continued success and joy.
Beautiful minds produce beautiful things as an inner reflection of oneself,
beauty being the reflection of God. Beautiful young lady framed by a work of art. Takes my breath away.

Morning Becca, it is a lovely project and I really thought it was you as first glance, you are both so alike. Two beautiful women.
Morning Becca, This is fabulous !! your frame is beautiful, but the flowers, die-cuts and piccie, make this into a ‘Work of Art’, fabulous !!
I would love to see you make these stunning flowers, there looks to be lots of paper creasing going on, and beautiful petal curling. Could you do a youtube video of these please !!!!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Oh my goodness Becca, I also thought it was you when you were younger. I just love how you framed the picture of your beautiful daughter, those flowers add an amazingly lovely detail to the frame. I sympathize with you about Ikea, every time I go, I’m like a little girl in a toy store, I just love that place.
I wish much success to your sweet girl now that she is embarking on this new Journey in her life as a College Graduate.
