Good morning, good morning, spring fever is here – at least at my end of the world. I had appointments early yesterday morning and the day was so pretty that I stayed out as long as possible :-) Today is Day of Giving Friday so I picked out a spring time card for todays post! Behind the scenes I’m working on a tutorial with an unlikely hero that you already own!
Here’s another older classic that I encourage you to pull out to set your heart right for spring that’s coming! I used Spellbinders Gold Labels Four along with Spellbinders Labels Four and Spellbinders Les Papillions. Can’t you just see that butterfly flitting among the flowers? (oh that’s right, the flowers aren’t out yet – but they are coming). Powdery pink stencilling just makes it all pop and I just love stamping my sentiment directly on design paper.
If you’re not familiar with Day of Giving Friday, every Friday I give away a card to a reader who leaves a comment – here’s a link to my FAQ’s just check out #11. For your comment today – what music are you listening to when you sit down to your craft table and how does it inspire you? For me, nothing is wrong in the world when I create to a house full of music!
Happy weekend! I have lots planner, several overdue gifts to make, filming a video and picture taking. Hope you’re up to something that tickles your heart!
Call me strange, but I prefer to craft in silence.
Lol, not strange at all Lisa, sometimes I’m the same way – but then sometimes music is the cure for a creative log jam. ;-) Thanks for weighing in!
I like silence when Iam working!!
I too like to be peaceful in my craft room and gaze out of my window.
I love to craft to Paloma Faith, such a beautiful voice. I love the card, Becca and was just checking out Labels Four in my dies box. You’ve given me some lovely inspiration.
Hi Becca, I love music ,so all my creative nui
Good Morning Becca
Yes its Friday–as Paul Harvey use to say. What a nice thing to hear as you are getting ready for work for some. I am retired now so I say that every morning. HA! As far as listening to any music it all depends on what I am creating–usually if I have it ready to put together I might listen to some Oldies or my favorite singer George Strait. I should get me a cowgirl hat!! Beautiful card once again Becca love the delicate butterfly. Have a great weekend.
Another beauty in pink . . . Makes me a happy, happy girl! I love music, all kinds, but oddly enough I don’t put any on when crafting. May have to rethink that, lol!!
Although I love all kinds of music, I am more inclined to craft with the television playing or in silence. Such a beautiful sentiment on a beautiful card!
Another beautiful card Becca. I just turn on the radio, but I love the oldies and country music. Christine S.
I usually listen to country music when I craft unless I have the TV on to one of the DYI/cooking/gardening channels. The music doesn’t necessarily inspire me, but does make the time go faster when I’m doing more of the mundane things while crafting (cutting out multiple dies, coloring many pieces of the same image, etc.). I, too, am ready for spring, but it snowed here yesterday, so I guess it’s still a ways away. Happy Friday!
Sorry I touched something on me screen, did not complete my sentence.
I usually have Pandora, 100 Hymns Instrumental Radio, or Relaxation Radio. Music relaxes me and helps my creative juices flow. Your card this morning is like a breath of fresh SPRING air. Thanks for sharing.
Are you cards for sell?
Music! I love music, but instead to scrap with music I prefer to do it in silence and let the music at bedtime to relax me.
I remember this card from when you originally featured it on your blog. It is still one of your prettiest! Thank you for showing it again. It is just lovely!
My music when crafting is jazz/American Songbook. My iPod is loaded and the music just floats out for hours on end. (The kids at work tease me because I like jazz. They tell me it is “old people” music!!)
Beautiful card and I love the pinks! For my brain to work on all cylinders I have to have things quiet. Once in a great while I will play soft music but it doesn’t stay on for long! My mind is noisey enough. Lol.
Hi Becca. You tutorial sounds intriguing. Youve got me wondering now! I often craft in silence but when I’m in the mood for music it’s something classical. I do like Craig Ogden s relaxing guitar music. Fab card. We have daffodils in full flower here and have had for a few weeks now as we’ve had a mostly warm winter so they have flowered early. Hope there’s some left for Easter! Happy weekend.
ohhh gosh Becca, I absolutely love this card, fave colour pink, love butterflies and labels four is one of my all time fave die sets, even though I don’t have the fancier counterparts to it yet, I am hopefully going to get my hands on them one day soon.
I tend to craft in silence as if the music is on I am so busy signing my heart out that I can’t concentrate on what I’m trying to make, lol lol maybe I should just find some plain old music with no lyrics to have playing softly in the bg just to break up the silence, it can be deafening! :) hugs tx for the change to win one of your amazing cards, I would Frame it and hang it on my wall, for everyone to see and for inspiration when i get stuck, like I am now., been sick almost 2 wks, so bored out of my mind and want to craft so bad, but have zero energy and zero mojo to boot :( soon I hope! I moved a few mths ago and I am finally back online and have my craft rm almost the way I want it, it’s about half the size of my last one so it’s really tough figuring out what I can do without to squeezze everything in! Have a great wkend, hope you get done what’s on your to do list, keep on keeping on and be blessed :) hugs
What a beautiful card you have made yet again! Listening to music obviously works for you but I doubt you need it! I prefer to craft in silence, so peaceful and calming, and it lets me concentrate. Sometimes it’s ok but I haven’t got anything to use to listen to in my craft room other my iphone anyway.
I listen to country or go to my CDS and listen to the 70 and 80s music Most times I’m making cards for loved ones and the music gives me inspection. Thanks
Love the sentiment and of course that card is just beautiful. I enjoy listening to my 80’s music. Sometimes I even have to lift my butt out of the chair and shake it… :) I do miss those days.
Becca, your card is beautiful as always! I don’t usually listen to music when crafting. I sometimes have on a crafting video or more likely talking to my children. thanks for the chance to win this wonderful card.
I love to craft listening to music. My favorite Josh Grobin Stages cd
I just love the card , sentiment and beautiful butterfly.Thank you so much.
Lovely card Becca, will have to get out my labels 4 and do something with them . I like quite when I am crafting.
This is lovely and, for once, I think I have most of the materials to CASE you… putting that on my project list! : )
Believe it or not… usually nothing is playing. I love music, but I have trouble concentrating with it on.
My first order of business when I set up my craft space was to find the perfect place for my stereo! I am a country girl – the old stuff, with all the “twang”, reminds me of days past and puts me in a more sentimental crafting mode. Whereas the newer, more rockin’ tunes inspire a lighter hearted side.
Thats a BEAUTIFUL card! I don’t usually have music on, I’m in the basement and don’t have my radio down here that has my mp3 player attached to it. Maybe I should bring my old phone down HERE, instead of using it upstairs to play music from pandora, and use it at my craft table instead…I hadn’t thought of that. I could use cd’s and mp3 player upstairs…and the phone down here. :-))
I usually listen to The Piano Guys or Peter Hollens….or nothing while I craft. What a beautiful card!! Love it!
Good afternoon Becca,
This is such a soft delicate looking card with dog rose background on the paper and the soft colours of the paper just letting you drift off to the sunny day when the meadow flowers are swaying in the gentle breeze and you are lying back on a blanket stretched out and the cares of the day just floating away along with the beautiful butterflies. Isn’t it amazing what the imagination can do just by seeing something. Mum always said i let my imagination run away with me sometimes as i was always floating off to a better place than i was in. I hope that it takes you off some where nice as well Becca where you can make your dreams come true.
My favourite music to listen to is like the Carpenters or Neil Diamond or Roy Orbison which takes me to a time before i was around for most of the songs as i turn 50 this year but good music doesn’t have an age group tied to it, does it? Mum had the radio on ever since i can remember and unlike the rest of my generation i didn’t find out what a television was until later on when i was about 8 or 9. I still have the radio playing today rather than the television as i never got out of the plays on the radio and the gentle music that you could listen to and still hear yourself think unlike some of the rubbish that is just a noise to me anyway. Have a lovely weekend Becca,
love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil Village, Scotland)
Lovely card, as always. I listen to varied music while crafting. Current favorites are Adele and Josh Groban. When crafting Christmas cards I listen to Christmas music.
Becca, Oh how blessed I am by your talent. I usually do not have music on. If I do, it is oldies
from the 60’s.
I used to love to listen to music while I crafted. Now with hearing loss I just enjoy the quiet.
I turn on the tv so that I am aware that time is moving. Without that, I would stay up far too late
Wow, I am amazed at the # of gals that work in silence! Even if I am at club I bring my IPad speaker with me. I like silence when I read & when I am cooking from a recipe. Otherwise I LOVE music! My exercise is even to music. It sooooo makes me happy! I love most types of music. Country, pop, classical, opera, rap, alternative rock, rock ‘n roll, gospel, contemporary. Not so much Jazz & not bluegrass. Also sometimes Netflix, lol.
Beautiful card with dies I already have. Better get busy!!!!
Becca, Truly a beautiful card. Thanks for sharing. I listen to a variety of music. Sometimes it’s Adele’s Hello or Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk. Then there is Luther Vandross’ music, Whitney Houston, and Teddy Pendgrass. Then there is gospel that I like to listen to.
then other times there’s no music just the background noise from the TV.
My crafting takes place in “the hub” of the house (kitchen/dining area) so usually I can hear the TV from the other room, and the family coming and going. :-)
I love to listen to Worship music when I craft. It inspires me to Craft with everything I have been given by God (ie. Gifts, talents) to show God’s Love to those who receive the gifts.
Such a BEAUTIFUL card with a perfect sentiment Becca! Wonderful combo of dies!!! Would love to win it!
My husband has classical music softly playing in our house so that is what I listen to in my studio…when he is not home I put on a CD of hymns and hum and listen as I create.
When, I craft, I actually love the silence. I do not listen to music. Your card is beautiful Becca!
Hi Becca, can’t wait to see what you’re working on next. I’ve retired recently and have been making cards nonstop. I have a little TV in my craft room that I usually have on just for some background noise to keep me company. Lately my cats have been jumping up on my craft table and settling down right on top of everything. I’m going to have to work that out !! I hope I win!
It is a rarity that I am able to turn on music in my household, let alone craft in the accompaniment of music. Our TV runs non stop these days, except when I am cleaning. I send everyone to their rooms or outdoors for outdoor projects, kick on the music and clean till my heart is content. They all know better then to mess with me while I am cleaning the house. LOL But I prefer to craft while watching TV and usually with the family underfoot.
I love this card. The colors are soothing and the card is gorgeous and I love that you have stamped the sentiment directly on to the patterned paper. Beautiful.
Classical music is what I like. This card is more than gorgeous, Becca.
Silence is golden in my creative space. I love just sitting at my table and looking around me and pulling an idea from something that catches my eye. I do admit that you are my greatest imspiration… Be it a die or a color combo or a sentiment. Thank you for sharing. I love this card…so beautiful and soft.
Another beautiful card.
Beautiful card Becca
Slow soft Classical Music for me ,and a bit of Maria Callas .
Elaine H X
Oh, I love that butterfly card!! I used to be a Country Music Fan but have since added Rock, Jazz and others to my playlists. So like my art, my music is hodge-podge.
Such a beautiful card. I like to listen to upbeat music,so I listen to the 70`s R&B. It keeps me moving and more inspired.
I usually have an old movie on or Skype with friends. If it is music, it’s Jim Croce or like. Your card fits the sentiment perfectly. Gorgeous.
Nothing – I escape to my craft room to get away from all the noise!
As always, this is such a beautiful card!
I am inspired by ANY music that makes me happy at the time when EVER I sit down to craft. The type of music will vary from day to day, just depends. I love all music from classical to country…I know that may sound kind of vague but its true and my cards reflect that!
What a truly stunning card today. Thank you.
My favourite music while crafting is one of the classics like Ella Fitzerald, Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin!!!
I too mostly like it quiet so I can concentrate on what I am working on. But there are times when I play cds or my old records. I have a little record player and I like the big bands from the 40’s–my dad played in a band in the 30-40’s so I grew up on that music. Love the fun sing alongs with Mitch Miller too. Also the music from the 50’s when I was in high school–Elvis, Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Elvis,The Platters, Bobbie Darin, Dick Clark and Bandstand, Elvis (can you tell I was an Elvis fan?. AWWW the days of rock n roll! I Feel sorry for those that didn’t get to live that experience–those were the days!! The twist, black and white saddle shoes, poodle skirts, neon socks, pony tails, duck tails, taps on your shoes. Wow, you’ve got me going Becca–gotta go put a record on!
This is absolutely gorgeous and so pretty and will brighten up the day of
the person who recieves it.
Makes me yearn for bright summer days.
I am quite happy to craft without music but if I do have it on it has to
be lively music to get me moving and is usually rock music or my favourite
is one of your home grown musicians by the name of Joe bonamassa.
Have a fabulous and fun weekend.
I love to listen to Adele sing! Oh, how beautiful and moving.
She inspires me. Thx for the chance to give your card a
“wonderful home” !
I’m a different one…I like pure quiet time “, but enjoy a going to crops, being with others too…..love your card, but love everything you make and dream that I could ever make one like yours…you’ve got the blessed touch..sounds like a busy weekend for you…I’m going to a potluck supper of scrapbooking – CARDMAKING …we start at 3 pm till 9 pm, eat at 5pm, then leave everything out and come back in the 9am, eat left overs for lunch and play till 3pm…we do this twice a month….love it!
Love this card! It is wonderful when I see a card that I can make because I have the dies! When I craft I prefer to have silence or I can’t concentrate lol.
This is such a pretty card – just love it! I either work in silence or I play oldies but goodies.
Hi Becca, I usually have the TV on when I am creating.
Love your cards. Thanks for sharing all of your talents.
Another beautiful card. I love the pink. Can you show again how to put the ink around the die? I like to play soft music or have the TV on when I work on my cards.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards.
A beautiful card. I love the verse. When I craft I call my friends, put phone on speaker and chat “till the cows come home”. Maybe some soft classical music in the background.
Love, love this card so very much.
Enjoy all types of music except heavy metal. Usually listen to movie scores when crafting. My favorites are August Rush, Sound of Music and Phantom of the Opera.
It depends on my mood….
Most often I love quiet, or relaxing music without vocals.
I do find Yanni very creative music.
Hi Becca what a beautiful card and sentiment so wish I had designed it
I love to listen to music when I craft mostly l like music from the sixties and seventies ,but I also love classical music.
This is so lovely as all of your cards are! Most of the time, when we have our weekly get-to-gether we just have chatter from the group. I have a tv in my craftroom so sometimes I am watching Jeoporady or Wheel of Fortune while crafting but then again I like to listen to some soothing music as well. There is always some kinda “noise.”
Have a great weekend.
Morning Becca, what an exquisite card… soft pinks and greens are my go to card colors. LOL, my whole home is varying shades of those colors. You’ll probably think I’m nuts, but I listen to “elevator music” when I’m crafting. For me it’s relaxing and conductive to inspiration. Weird, huh? Thanks for being my muse….I can hardly wait for Fridays to roll around.
Always so pretty in pink. I like all different types of music it just depends on the mood I am in. Sometimes it will be with no music on. But in my house it’s playing almost all the time, especially if I am doing housework lol then I turn up the beat!
Have a lovely weekend! x
Good morning Becca, wow what a fabulous card I love it!!! Has for the weather it was freezing when I got up at 6 this morning : ( I had to scrape ice off my windscreen I was absolutely perished!!!
My taste in music is very eclectic from Nat King Cole, Elvis, Beatles, Alice Cooper, Yes, Aerosmith, Classical, Film scores, Rolling Stones, Country all the 50s and 60s and far to many to write. I could go on for day’s!!! But I craft in silence no music no TV it’s wonderful to get lost in your own thoughts!!!
Have a good one!!!
Loopy Lynda xxx
If I listen to music it is usually an oldies station
Beautiful card. I made a similar one for Easter one year, using a different verse. I usually don’t have music one and I craft in silence or sing to myself.
I love to craft in peace and quite :)
Love this card – this is a beautiful card.
Happy Friday, Becca,
Well, I love everything about this card-fancy, filigree, flourish, roses, pearls and that lovely openwork butterfly…and a great sentiment-PERFECT!
It’s noisy in my home so I usually craft in silence BUT, when I lived alone, I always had music on: Gregorian Chant; David Davidson’s beautiful violin-Hymns of Hope; Steven Hill’s piano orchestrations-On Eagle’s Wings and Kim Robertson’s ethereal harp music-Tender Shepherd (ya think there’s a theme here?) Some heavenly inspiration for sure!
I’m making cards this weekend – Yippee!
Love and blessings,
Beautiful card as always! Don’t often have music playing when I craft. But like to “listen” to TV programmes my family are watching in the next room :)
Just love your card Becca. Although our Spring is long gone we still have butterflies around! I love listening to Country Music and we usually have the radio tuned to a local station which plays Country all day!
Hi Becca great card and the bow is stunning,l love all music but to craft to it has to be motown and stevie wonder is my all time best,he just seems to get me going hugs linda
Morning Becca, what a beautiful card this morning made with your Labels 4 and yes that butterfly is lovely. the music I like to listen to is Andrew Lloyd Webbers music.
You seem to be in a dreamy mood. How lovely.
When making cards I play a CD that sort of fits the mood.
If it is a fun card, lively music, if it is a sympathy card, perhaps classical. But my all time favorite is any type of piano music. That seems to always affect my nervous system and sparks my brain to create. Have a beautiful week…until next Friday…hugs.
Love to work with gospel music in the background
creating a lot of distress inked cards at the moment and “TAPESTRY” BY Carol King is my fav at the moment.
Have a great creative day.
Really needed this springtime color combo today. Hasn’t warmed up as much as they said it would. Love, love the card and the details.
I´m always listening to music here. I always turn the raadio on as the very first thing, when I get up in the morning and turn it of as the very last before I go to bed in the evening. I love to listen to most kinds of music but especially the rock music from the 60´s and the 70´s is really good music to my ears he he.
Beautiful and gorgeous card.
What a lovely card, Becca! Once again, your card touched my heart.
I enjoy crafting to gentle music. It inspires me to dream and think of lovely, peaceful things.
My crafty “music” is the hustle and bustle of my family in the house.
I enjoy all kinds of music when I work, it really depends on my mood, sometime I like to rock and roll and other times I enjoy soft music, a lot depends on how I feel that particular day .
I love music so very much that I pretty much have something playing almost all day be it Hawaiian, 60’s classics or country Westerns. It helps keep the rhythm is my life going.
Hello Becca. You’ve shared such a lovely card for today’s feature. I love the soft focus of the colors and the butterfly to further enhance the sentiment. I craft to a wide variety of music, classical, country, jazz, folk, etc. If I’m having trouble working out a problem in my crafting, I usually resort to classical music or something like Enya.
I love listening to big band music. I love the rhythm.
Be still my beating heart! Loved seeing this card again!
I rarely listen to music when crafting. I grew up in a household where my mother relished silence at times and I guess that has stayed with me :o)
Anne (UK) x
Hello Becca your card is so spring pastel perfect !
We will soon be heading into Autum cool nights warm days and hopefully some
I have the radio on during the day for housework but peace and quiet
for the special time in my craft room lol Hugs PamXXX
Normally I don’t have any music on, because unfortunately I don’t have a dedicated space for crafting. Hubby always has the tv on, so much for music. lol
I listen to Michael Buble, Bon Jovi, a variety. Lovely card.
Something soft and soothing, creating cards is my relaxation.
Your card is absolutely lovely and really does “feel” like spring! I love most kinds of music and used to love to listen while I crafted. Hubby is usually underfoot these days so the tv is usually on non-stop. Either way, crafting is good.
I don’t usually listen to music when crafting. Maybe I should try that for inspiration. Love your card Becca.
i am a 70’s girl. love to hear pop music from that era, a little rock a little easy listening it’s all good to me. beautiful card. thanks for doing this for us each week. enjoy the pleasant weather.
Beautiful butterfly on your already gorgeous card.
I listen to a variety of music. Southern gospel, country, big band, pop.
I love listening to gospel music. Not the newer stuff, but the oldies. Even have gospel CD’s in my car.
Lovely card Becca… love the bow and stick pin!
You card is beautiful,as always, I love your site thank You. When I am making cards I always have my music on, country, but I listen to all kinds, when I am mowing my lawned I listen to rock so I can keep on going, when I am on a beach I listen to everything, but when I am making cards I love my country and I can work for hours. No matter what I am doing the music is on, music is better than TV any day.
Thanks for sharing your talents with all of us.
Oh my gosh, I listen to 50’s and 60’s. The music I grew up with! Well, I don’t know about the grew up part, but I still like the music! Love the butterfly. The background paper is so pretty. You just really know how to put it all together. Blessings, Lisa
Oh Becca what a stunning card. . . Spring is just around the corner in the PNW, all the tulips and crocus are springing up, just need the Robins to return and start singing!
Your work is just gorgeous and I so love your Blog, it’s a refreshing quiet time for me, thank you!
Have a great weekend.
I usually work in silence, but sometimes I do sing softly while I’m creating. Your card is beautiful.
Beautiful card Becca. I usually craft in silence – if there is any music it is usually the house radio tuned to our Christian station, and that only in the summer when the doors are open :-)
Another fabulous card Becca, love the pink and the butterfly a card with a butterfly always takes my eye. I usually craft in a quiet room but if music I love Andre Rieu and Demis Roussos music.
I actually like it quiet. As I get older, I like it more quiet. Weird because I used to be a music junkie… Maybe because it is more calming…
I really love how you use the pretty patterned paper! I have a good quantity of it that I bought because it’s so pretty and then struggle to use it. Love your card and the use of not new dies, it’s wonderful to see that. I love listening to Christian music when I want more than the quiet I like. :)
Very pretty card. The bow and stick pen just finish this beautiful card.
If my husband is working outside or in his shop and the door is unlocked, then I don’t listen to music so I can hear him when he comes into the house. If he gone, then the door is locked, and I listen to music–it may be relaxing, country, Cajun, gospel, jazz, or instrumental. Just depends on my mood. My desk is in front of a window and I can see my husband’s shop. My window looks out across the fields, his shop, our barn, our tall sycamore tree, and most important–my clothes line. Love the clean smell of sheets hung out to dry. Nothing like it!
Grown except one, but I do enjoy silence!
It erased most of my comment! I usually craf† in silence, which is great for a mother of six children! They are all grown except one, but I enjoy my silence!
I like every music, but most of all the one wich is abel to let me relax
Hi Becca, this is absolutely gorgeous thinking about trying to replicate it for one of my granddaughters. I usually craft in silence as after having 5 teanagers in the house for years it is lovely to have silence and no more music.
Sorry for the absence again and usually late lol!
Wow this is stunning, such a pretty card, love the design and the sentiment, so true lol!
I hope you are well and life is treating you good?
Love & hugs
Jacquie J xxx
I’m so incredibly busy at the moment and was working until so late last night, that I didn’t get around to looking at Amazing Paper Grace yesterday! I’m sorry that I missed the chance to win this absolutely fabulous card. It’s so pretty – and I’ve got all the dies! I listen to the radio mostly so the music I hear is quite random and it gives an opportunity to keep up with the news!
Doreen R from Bournemouth UK
Hi Becca, Another lovely card. Doesn’t matter if the dies are new or old, it’s what the designer does with them. Never thought of putting Labels 4 horizontal but it works beautifully. Thanks for your fresh look at everything, not just cards but to appreciate ever day from the weather to what you hear. I do have my studio radio pegged to Moody radio, WSOR SW FL, and the car is on Serius First Decade of Rock and Roll, the 50s. From the Crests to Tony Evans–all is good and both keep me smiling. Have a good one. Barbara
Hi Becca, A stunning card, gorgeous die-cuts and papers and a very pretty bow.
When I am crafting I normally have the TV on in the background, Previously I tried listening to my audiobooks on my Kindle whilst crafting, but found that I can only do one thing at a time and I was missing all the ‘story’ so stopped doing that haha, so now I have the background noise of Create and Craft on TV. When I am decorating though, I always have Il Divo CDs on in the background and I sing along with them whilst hanging wallpaper or painting, it really lifts my spirits.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Oh dear I must be crazy then, because I like to have quiet when I am creating.
Becca, you are teasing me with Springtime in your card and your excitement of wonderful days to come! Even though there will be a slight warming up here for the next couple of days, winter’s hand is still very much with me here in the mountains. Looking forward to what you have in store for us with a new tutorial. Love your design on this card. Now to the comment: what music are you listening to when you sit down to your craft table and how does it inspire you? I am currently listening to various albums of Enya with her Irish music of voice-layering and keyboard renditio mind ns. Enya’s music seems to calm my soul and lift my spirtual consciousness to a higher level, making my creative processes flow with ease. And I have found an additional plus for listening to Enya while making my cards. My little dog likes to be with me during my card making times. He sometimes wants my attention when I am right in the middle of the “inky finger” process or the die cutting time. It seems listening to Enya not only sooths my soul, but puts my Little Bit to sleep! Quiet time for both of us. Don’t you love it?
A Beccabeautiful card as usual!!!
I go to JW Broadcasting then audio, then the vocal section for a long while, then I go to videos and listen to: The Best Life Ever video a good couple of times, while I listen… I very happily get lost creating.
Hello Becca – I hope you are having a wonderful day today! I’m a huge fan of the Labels Four die sets and you’ve used the original die to create a beautiful card. I love that you stenciled the frame rather than choosing color cardstock. The card is lovely and pink is always my favorite color.
If I’m listening to music, I like oldies and gospel music. As a teenager in the 60’s, the oldies take me back to a different time full of treasured memories. Gospel music fills my heart with inspiration and reminds me to give thanks for all the blessings in my life. I also enjoy crafting in silence. Sometimes it’s the quiet around me that brings peace and tranquility.
You and your cards are amazing, I have never found someone as upbeat and enthusasitic as you, It is with a heavy heart that I searched your sight for the perfect card to send to a dear friend in England who has lost his wife. Luckily you had just what i wanted
Iusually don’t listen to music when I am crafting, believe it or not. Enjoying the quiet time is what I like. But if I was to listen to music it would probably be a quartet group from Italy by the name of Rondo Venenzinano, spelling on that may not be correct. They play classical music and it is very uplifting and so well done.
most of the time I’m listening to the oldies (60’s) and just have good vibes from my teenage years!!! Once in awhile I just enjoy listening to easy listening music. I always have some thing playing in the background. Love the card this Friday!!!
Your card is absolutely gorgeous. There’s so much prettiness involved. If prettiness is even a word? I enjoy crafting in silence. There’s always so much noise in my day to day that when I escape to create, quiet works best for me.
Scrumptious card, Becca. Love the palette. The stenciling really is ‘the’ touch. Truly Beccalicious!
Hi Becca. Looks like I may be the last post tonight… Or the first of tomorrow? As I read through the comments, I’m surprised at how many like the quiet when creating. I do like quiet, but I love music…even if i distract myself, singing! I like to listen to Pandora and have created several stations to suit my various moods like classical, big band, easy listening vocals, faith based, film scores, and even one I call crooners (Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Tony Bennett, etc. – all before my time but such great songs!) Happy creating!!!
I like to listen to Enja whilst crafting or some yoga music I have (I don’t DO yoga though!) I find it very uplifting and easier to craft that way as I can’t craft when I’m feeling down.
Thank you for all you do.
