First Ever Quietfire Blog Hop

by on November 21, 2009

Well, guess whose lucky day it is?  Someone here will win some goodies today!!  So if you have ever drooled over these lovely Quietfire sentiments (the way I do), I’m hoping that luck will be on your side.   I’m honored that I could participate in the first ever Quietfire Blog Hop – today is Day 7!  The Blog Hop has been going on all week long and every day fabulous prizes have been tallied up for some lucky hoppers.  If you have not had a chance to play yet, you still have a chance today and tomorrow.  You will definitely want to hop over and see Monica Black who is hosting Day 8.   Okay, first about the card then I’ll tell you what you need to do to win.

I dissected a fabulous piece of Graphic 45 paper to come up with this themed card.  The Design paper had Twas the Night before Christmas and I thought it would be a lovely backdrop to Suzanne’s fabulous hand penned sentiment – Hold On To The Spirit of Christmas. As embellishment I used Spellbinders Lattice Pendant, Spellbinders Labels Four and Spellbinders Fancy Tags.

On each blog please leave your comment in the comments section for a chance to win a grab bag of Quietfire Design Rubber Stamps.

A name will be chosen randomly from the list of comments on each blog entry and the name of the winner will be posted on that blog the next day. Then hop on over to the next blog on the list to see the fabulous art work done with Quietfire stamps and to leave a comment to enter the drawing for that blog.

The winner must contact suzanne@quietfiredesign.com to claim their prize!!!

Here is the list of participating blogs.
Monday, Nov 16th –
Yogi Grunwald
Tuesday, Nov 17th –
Kristy Christopherson
Wednesday, Nov 18th –
Kim Prince
Thursday, Nov 19th –
Deborah March
Friday, Nov 20th –
Suzanne Cannon
Saturday, Nov 21st –
Wanda Hentges
Sunday, Nov 22nd –
Becca Feeken
Monday, Nov 23rd –
Monica Black

Besides what you can win today, there’s a grand prize up for grabs.  Just take note of all the rubber stamps used on each DT’s blog. At the end of the blog hop, go back to Suzanne’s blog and list all the stamps used this week on everyone’s cards to win a GRAND PRIZE.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Quietfire Design, Hold On To The Spirit of Christmas

Paper:  Graphic 45, Coredinations
Ink:  Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories:  Spellbinders Lattice Pendant, Spellbinders Labels Four, Spellbinders Fancy Tags, Martha Stewart Border Punch (inside), pearls, ribbon

I hope you’ll go back to see the lovely art the design team cooked up for this week.  Quick, go tell your friends they have only today to leave a comment for the blog candy.  Have a fabulous day!!

Lovely combination of paper, embellishments and embossed sentiment. This blue color is really wintery and the touch of snow from the ribbon and pearls finishes it beautifully.

Wow! This is beautiful! I wasn’t sure how the delicate calligraphy lines would hold up to embossing but I see by your example that it can look fantastic. I love how you’ve brought all these elements together, and how the diecut images echo the graceful lines of the calligraphy. This is a beautiful card in so many ways. Thanks for the inspiration!
