Elegance in 10 Minutes

Christmas Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design - Flourished Ornaments, Spellbinders Labels Forty Eight Decorative Elements, Spellbinders Labels Forty Eight - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Well it had to happen . . . I overlooked someone when I was making Christmas Cards.  Never fear, I had a couple of thoughts knocking around my head on a card I could pull together quickly.   I normally can’t even find a piece of paper within 10 minutes but this truly came together in a jiffy.  I know it won’t get there in time but  for me a 10 minute card is as rare as a unicorn so happily it was  meant to be.

Someone recently asked me if I always do gold – so I reached for silver.  Spellbinders Labels Forty Eight and Spellbinders Labels Forty Eight Decorative Elements are rich with detail and enough so to make a shaped card – so I reached for them. Quietfire Design recently introduced a fabulous Flourished Ornament Set and the beautiful flourished statements fit perfectly inside the Labels Forty Eight shape.  I ran the copied outlines of the dies through the minc machine then cut the outline using the dies – Technique Here – but cutting them out of silver alone is just as lovely.  Added pearls, added a bow and added a button.

Beautiful. I am looking forward to your forthcoming creations, Becca. I just made and posted a card this morning, along with one that had an old address and needed redoing.
Even though I try to downsize my list, I end up getting one from someone I eliminated, and then rethink the decision. My Christmas budget is taking a bit of a hit,but I guess I have decided I want to do this It is like sending a tiny Christmas gift to my friends and relatives. I wish they would not feel indebted to reciprocate, as that is not my goal. Still, of course I love getting them. God Bless you and yours this Christmas.ReplyCancel
