Good morning and Happy (Day of Giving) Friday. I love giving no occasion cards and thankfully this supports all the justifications I have for card making. Let’s face it, there’s a gap from one holiday to the next so this is what fills in the cracks and puts the responsible facade on the front of some of my collecting habits :-). Seriously though, of all the cards given, holiday cards seem to be anticipated, while that ‘no occasion’, ‘just because’ card is simply a spontaneous surprise and likely at the time that it is needed the most. My thought for you today is to never doubt your own kindness. It is not frivolous and you can never measure how much you have lifted someone at their darkest moment. Today I’m sharing a simple blessing card. I duplicated this card many times to send out to friends and I’m letting my last one go…
The card base is 5-1/2 x 7-1/2.
The card is made using Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty Five. Inside the frame I inserted curved strip (no die) that I topped with Spellbinders Lacey Ovals topped with Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM
I finished off with a loopy bow decorated with a button and pearl.
