Becca Bit: Organdy/Chiffon Flowers on Loom

by on June 4, 2011

Hi there blog friends.  While I had a second I’m wedging in another Becca Bit that you asked for.  Recently I made a flower using cut yardage from my organza/chiffon stash.  Several of you asked about it – it’s a very  easy flower so I thought I’d show you how:

How easy was that?  If you are interested in knowing more about the loom I made, you can check out this post – http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/tutorial-flower-of-the-loom/ Thanks for stopping by,  see you tomorrow!!

That IS a very pretty flower. I’ve got to try one of those. I don’t have anything in the way of flowers, and everyone is using them on cards now, so all the tutorials I can watch on making flowers is what I need!

Very pretty and easy too. I had my son make me one of the looms and have used it already. Thanks for the tip and the pattern. Edna

It’s a beautiful flower. I found the box, have the rivets and bit, just need some time to do it. A friend even gave me some great tulle. Thanks so much for always being a great teacher and sharing your little Becca bits.
Enjoy the weekend.. It’s 90 and humid here, plus the mesquito’s came to visit.

Becca, I know you made your loom by yourself but for those of us who are less crafty, can you tell us where to purchase one of these? This flower is gorgeous – would love to be able to make these!

Hey Becca, cool flower. I’m going to see if my old fashioned bowmaker willdo this. Don’t see why not. But as soon as I unpack my ribbon, I’ll give it a go! Thanks

Your flower is gorgeous! I have a bow maker that is similar to what you use to make the flower – however it’s quite a bit larger than yours. Thanks so much for sharing!

Hello Becca
I love this romantic soft type of flower and it’s easy to send through the mail.
Now my question is to you think you could do a Becca Bit on how you created your little loom to do it on.
Pretty please with whipped cream on it.

pat…I love that little loom.
