Amazing Paper Grace December Die of the Month Blog Hop

Amazing Paper Grace December Die of the Month by Spellbinders - Softly Spoke
Good morning!!  Every month we’ll be bringing you inspiration for the December Die of the Month; today is our Die of the Month Blog Hop!!   The Die of the Month is like a “swiss army knife”  you can manipulate it to do a variety of things.  At the very least you can do a card and normally you can use the pieces and parts for cards and other 3D items.  The Creative Team has joined in for everyone to give you their spin, in their style.  We hope you’ll see something that resonates and inspires you.

If you are new to our blogs, the Die of the Month is an exclusive die I’ve designed for Spellbinders – it is called Softly Spoke’n Flip and Gatefold Die.  This particular set has 9 dies.  They can be used to make a background, a gatefold card, a tent card and  more.  The individual dies in the set can be used for many things.

If you want to find out more about the Club – prices, how you sign up and what’s included, please look ——–> HERE.

My Card Today:

Amazing Paper Grace December Die of the Month by Spellbinders - Softly Spoke

For my card today, I wanted simple elegance.  I took the inlaid plates from the Die of the Month – there are two of them – and simply glimmered.  It’s such a delicate and understated effect – I just love it!!   I embellished the pearl points as if I had cut the die and to me it all seems absolutely dreamy!!

Amazing Paper Grace December Die of the Month by Spellbinders - Softly SpokeAfter I added the foil using the cut side of the die, I actually used the oval in the set to cut an aperture and lift the foiled design to frame a sentiment from Quietfire Design from the Autumn Collection.  In addition, I added a gold mat layer behind my rose cardstock.   Lastly, I cut the main piece of the die out (with all rims but no inlaid pieces) so that I could snip out the oval to use on top!

    Hi Becca,
Been MIA for a while, but always a fan. Loved that you’re trying the club route again. I wasn’t able to take advantage of it the first time you had one. This time I jumped at the chance to participate. I may not be able to get them all, but I’ll try my best. Hate I was out of touch and missed the first installment. I received my order yesterday, and am very impressed. Can’t wait to make something with it.?ReplyCancel
