A Floral Christmas

Christmas Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Layered Blooms Contour Die and Quietfire Design Tiny Christmas Wishes, Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles, Spellbinders Cinch and Go Flowers, Spellbinders Petite Pennants - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Happy Holidays dear friends!  Yes, it is getting closer.  Popping up to share some last minute Christmas inspiration.  I’m working on some other projects but this flower figures prominently and luckily it’s something that I can share :-)  I’ve been using this gorgeous flower using a new Spellbinders Contour Die called Layered Blooms (yep, it’s a steel rule die) to decorate packages and oh so many more things.  That flower – easy and gorgeous!  That sentiment – of course it is Quietfire Design!  I used a new Christmas set called  Tiny Christmas Wishes for the perfect finishing touch!

SPEAKING OF WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO  . . .

I can’t hint, but Spellbinders can hint.  Today, Spellbinders is sharing my story, the inspiration for my designs.  Read the article carefully and you’ll be able to figure out what’s coming (wink, wink).  The whole story is at this link —–>  Designer Spotlight – Becca Feeken.  I’m so tickled to have the opportunity to be a licensed designer.  If you have a moment, chime in over on the Spellbinders blog.   Thank you for letting me share my inspiration!!

WRBF-4865-2015
My card above is embellished with some of my favorite dies – Spellbinders Cinch and Go Flowers (love that swirl!), Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles (a must have) and Spellbinders Petite Pennants.   Okay, back to my work desk!  I’m going to have a glass of mojo and continue with some pressing deadlines.  I couldn’t resist showing just a small piece of the gorgeousness that I get to work with!   Thank you sweeties!!

Hi Becca, Understated elegance! Wow,what a card–the simplicity screams sophistication, confidence, style, and beauty. What a contrast to my add everything on the table glued and layered and hope for the best. This card is so well thought out a design. When you’ve got it you’ve got it and Becca has got it. Thanks for making everything look so easy but you have method to your madness and I am so pleased to sit back and duplicate, better known as copy die for die, stamp for stamp, flower for flower. Why mess with success? Thanks, BarbaraReplyCancel

Beautiful card, Becca. Can’t wait to go read the article. Please keep my mother in prayer. She will be going to a rehab tomorrow and probably onto a nursing home. Her world is about to change and she is so unhappy and scared. The worst part is that she doesn’t know the Lord. Very scary. Anyone that reads this please pray for her.ReplyCancel

This is what I wrote about you:
Becca was an early influence on and inspiration to me when I ventured into papercrafts. Therefore, this post will not be short. Becca Feeken was responsible for me starting to buy Spellbinders. When I saw her work, I was in awe. Could I possibly pull off something like that? I now have three magnetic cases filled with awesome Spellbinders dies. Yes indeed there are more carefully stored, especially those big ones. I was thrilled when she designed her own dies. Got them too! Becca’s creative spirit is manifested in her work. Beautiful, inventive, timeless and so freakin’ coooool! I cannot wait to see her new designs.
Thank you Spellbinders for letting Becca bring you to us! Her videos are awesome and she is a very good teacher…that mesmerizing voice. Becca truly loves what she does and shares it with us in a spirit full grace!ReplyCancel

  • SHELLEEDecember 22, 2015 - 7:53 pm

Once again Becca, you are showing us true beauty! Can’t wait for your new designs! I have told Spellbinders MORE than once online, as well as in person at shows, that YOU are the reason my Spellbinders collection numbers over 100 dies! Prior to finding your site, I had 1 die, and had never opened it….2 short years later, things have changed! Your designs have changed everything about the way I craft! Blessings to you and yours Dear Lady, as you celebrate the season, although with a heavier heart this year. However, you display your sadness with such “Amazing Grace” I believe you will have a blessed Christmas!
