With Only Scraps

Hi there blog friends!!  Just peeking in to show you something I put together in 10 minutes with scraps from last week.  I love doing that!!!  Sometimes you invest the time and work through to get the card or item you want and sometimes you need quick and easy!!  So this was very quick and easy and what’s more, next time I have a gift I won’t have to search for an enclosure card or a little box.  I’m all set!!  From some of the recent digital paper I used I cut this small trinket box which is new – Spellbinders Square Bracket Edge Box (bottom and top).  My card is 4″ x 4″ so it gives you an idea of the size of the box.  By the way did you know that all the new die templates are now on the Spellbinders website – yep . . . you can see them ——-> HERE.

Don’t forget, I have two blog candies going on right now, my morning blog candy and my night blog candy.  Below are links to the specific posts!

Girls Paperie Blog Candy – comments from 12:05am to Noon ——–>HERE
Prima Blog Candy – comments from Noon to Midnight ——->HERE

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Studio G
Paper: Bazzill, Crafty Secrets Vintage Patterns CD
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Square Bracket Edge Box, Seam Binding, Lace, Pearl

Thanks for stopping in!!  I’ll see you soon!!

Yesterday I dug out a box of spools of seam binding I’ve had for years (about 2000 yards) and made your double bows. Loved the soft look and feel. These bows will go so well with the shabby papers. I also got my mail yesterday with my order of the Crafty Secrets cd. I’m so delighted with that too. Now I need to get my hands on some of the Girls Paperie! Thanks for the inspiration.ReplyCancel

Love your floral print paper. I’m anxious to receive my CD from Crafty Secrets. I recently received 2 paper pads from them (actually card stock weight). I’ve found those very versatile also. I think the CD will be a little more to my liking. Love your box. Stay cool today. Very hot again today in Iowa.ReplyCancel

Simply beautiful! Love everything about both. It’s wonderful that you were able to do it with scraps. I’ve set a goal to use up as much of my scraps as possible by years end. Trying hard not to add to that pile as well.

What a great card, and made from “Left-overs!” LOL
I was pleased to see the new Spellbinders link, but couldn’t find the doily flower one you used a few days ago? THEN I remembered you cut the outline from the flower die and lo and behold there it was. Ha ha I am getting old I guess! Another groaning wallet here. Hopefully they will be released in Oz soon, or I will have to order them from the US online.ReplyCancel
