Wanna See Something Neat?

Thanks so much for all your well wishes.  I know I’m being quiet – I’ve tried to answer emails, phone calls and Facebooks posts but I’m not quite there yet.  I’m thankful that my craft table is waiting and although mojo is just a quiet as I am, we’ve been having a thoughtful conversation over the last week or so. On a moment to moment basis I looking for things to celebrate.  This (to me) fits into that category so I thought I’d share.

There’s a new book scheduled to be released in print in January, but it’s already online as a download.  Since the book is all about Nestabilities, I really, really, really wanted to be in it.  I’m tickled to say that I’m in there with many other fabulous designers.  There are more than forty five projects with instructions included.

If you click on the the photo above, it will take you to the link.  Be sure to click on "see more photos" so that you can see some of the beautiful projects that are included!  I think you all know me almost better than I know myself, lol.   My project is one of those shown in the "see more photos".  Can you tell which one, weigh in and let me know (sheesh, I wish I could set this up as a poll but I don’t know how)?

By the way, wanna see what’s on the shelf at your local Michaels store now ?

This is the book published this time last year that floored me because it was revealed with my project on the cover – a shock!!  If you didn’t get a chance to see it before . . . well now, while you are strolling the aisles of Michaels, pick it up and flip through it.  Just saying :-)  Even though you can’t use coupons on books in Michaels, from what I could see, the price was listed at $8.99.  The store in my area put them out about a week ago so I’m assuming they ‘re out everywhere.

Thanks for letting me share :-)

Congratulations on being published again. I will wait and buy the actual book. I can’t decided if your entry is picture #1 or #2 . Picture #1 because it is a delightful set and you like to do sets . Plus becauseI think the sentiment is from Quiet Fire and you love those stamps .

Or #2 because you love to use the the ends of Fancy Tags behind other shapes and they are on the candle. LOL
But I think it is picture #1 –ReplyCancel

    Becca,
I can’t wait! I’m buying the wedding book today, if I can find it! I’ll buy the other book when it’s available, also. You have lifted my spirits and inspired me, so much, over the past year and a half, through the love shining through your creations. In fact, I have been able to pour my heart and soul into my poetry and prayer bookmarks, which carry sincere prayers to our Lord and King. People seem to really like them and I sell many of them to churches and organizations. I always tell them that it was Him, not me, who created these words–just a vessel tryin’ to follow His path. You are probably wondering how you helped this to happen….It’s just your quiet “being” and consistently being here, on this site. God works through each and every one of us in different ways. Through Him, you have touched my soul. May God Bless You. Take care.ReplyCancel

Oh my gosh Becca! How wonderful for you to be published in a book. A magazine publish is great, but a book…. It’s forever! Congrats.
And please don’t think you have to reply to any of my coments… I make them because I think you make lovely things. You work so hard and you deserve them! (as if we think of our crafting as work ;) I hope you have as good a Thanksgiving day as you can.

Hey Becca, I think yours is the red and white set. The bow’s look like yours.
But all of them are so pretty. I think I need both these books! Thanks for sharing your work, and play with us. sounds like the mojo is on holiday, and that’s ok. I think when you sit at your table, it’ll come when you need it!
Can’t wait for the Spellbinders book. Annies Attic seems to be hitting the nail on the head with their books lately!
Thanks for sharing this with us.

Dear, Dear Becca, I am sure that we, your friends, are not near as surprised as you are. I always said
your designs would make a great book and would sell like mad! Not just for others to make cards like yours but just because they are so amazing and beautiful to look at! But truly, just so you know I am sincere, must your bows always be sooo big cause sometimes they hide such lovely cards! Ha haReplyCancel

I’m sure it is the items on the first page in red/white. They have your “signature” stamped all over them! Absolutely beautiful – just like you.ReplyCancel
