The Only True Gift

Sweet friends, I hope you are on good footing today :-)  I have a girly, girly card today.  It’s not where I started but it’s certainly where I ended and I mused how hobby mimics life, right?!?  I pulled out some of that delightfully whimsical and feminine Girls Paperie that you know I have in my stash, and used it . . . yay !. . . this is just like therapy.  I had some pink gingham tissue paper, that I’m sure I’ll never be able to find again, but used it to make a fluffly flower with the help of Spellbinders Blossoms Three.  Pulled in a little bit of lace and Vivid Pink (pre-dyed) seam binding to finish off as well as some store bought doilies.  I was torn whether to distress things are not, so I just let them be.

Recognize the stamp style? Yes indeed, it is Quietfire Design.  This is a sentiment I haven’t used before called The Only True Gift. I think the next best thing to doing calligraphy is stamping calligraphy, lol!!!  I definitely live vicariously when using these stamps.  I can’t make it look that pretty, but the stamp sure does a good job!!

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps:  Quietfire Design – The Only True Gift
Paper: The Girls Paperie, Bazzil (Pink), Xpedx Brilliiant White 140lb Cardstock
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Spellbinders Blossoms Three, Spellbinders Foliage, Seam Binding, Pearls, Lace, Pearl Picks

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope your week is going well and finds you filled with inspiration!

I’m beginning to get so frustrated. I live in a little town with only one real craft store, and they don’t carry any pretty lace trioms like you use. I went to the big city last week and hit up two of the big name craft stores thinking they would have pretty laces, but NOPE! Where do you usually find yours?ReplyCancel
