ODBD Sketch Challenge – Join Us!!

Want to win some Shimmerz?!!!! Here is how!!!! Our Daily Bread Designs is having its first challenge. Our first challenge is a sketch challenge!!!! Three lucky winners will be chosen to receive a bottle of Shimmerz.   All you have to do to participate is use ODBD stamps as the focal image on your card, and post a comment to the ODBD blog HERE.  Here’s the sketch!

If you are uploading to SCS, please use these two codes (ODBDSC01 and ODBD) so we can find your cards there too! As for the sketch, just remember that you can turn it, make it larger or smaller, or flip it – whatever works for your design. You have until January 23 to join in the challenge for a chance to win! I look forward to seeing what you create. To see what the other Design team members have done with this sketch check out their blogs….they are on my sidebar!

Here is my entry for the sketch challenge.

The card is fairly simple.  After laying a base panel I cut/emboss a Spellbinder Classic Frame S5-012 and mounted it horizontally.  I then cut a 4 x 4 panel that I rotated so that the corners could be tucked in on the sides.  Then I cut a 3" panel onto which I stamped the cross of nails and sentiment and rotated so that it stood on the matching axis.  I finished off with piercing, gold pearls and ribbon.  Easy!

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – He is Risen
Paper:  Prima, Bazzill, 140lb Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Ink:  Distress Ink – Vintage Photo, Distress Ink – Walnut Stain
Accessories:  Spellbinder Classic Frame S5-012, Ribbon, Gold Pearls, Ornare Piercing Template

Good afternoon, Becca – a beautifully rich card is this; the colours are exquisite and I love your treatment with the the new frame; love the double ribbon bow, too.
This will be my last comment for a wee while as I’m off on holiday now until 31 January but I shall enjoy browsing when I return to see what little masterpieces you have produced in my absence :)

Hey, I love your card as always. But, I’m felling left out cause I want that new Spellbinder frame die you used. Oh well. Maybe I’ll put on my thinkin cap and use some of the nesties I have. By creating a frame with two die then embossing them or piercing them. Then tucking my paper in the frame. Hmmmm, I’m still thinkin. Might not use on this challenge but I like that Frame use. Blessings, Staci JReplyCancel
