I’m sharing another of the April Releases from Our Daily Bread Designs, just in time to make a wedding card for my stash.  This set is called Love One Another.    I delved into my K & Co papers to find something appropriate and I love the soft muted tones that I came up with.

This card is a simple one – I stacked two panels and on top of the last panel I mounted a frame cut out of Spellbinders Labels Three which I tilted and over top of that mounted the inner portion with my stamped sentiment.  I finished up with pearls, ribbon and the scroll cut from Spellbinders Symbology.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Love One Another
Paper:  K & Co., 140 lb Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Ink:  Martha Stewart – Dusk Blue
Accessories: Spellbinders Labels Three, Spellbinders Symbology, Ribbon, Pearls

Have a blessed week!

Yay, I was able to get another light so I’m back in business.  I am sharing another of the April Releases from Our Daily Bread Designs, this one called Children of God.   The children silhouettes on this paper from Me and My Big Ideas was the perfect backdrop for the card.  After I cut the border and trimmed the edge of it with a Martha Stewart Lattice Arch Border Punch.  I cut three sets of circles with Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Spellbinders Standard Circles Smalland threaded ribbon through the openings before popping the panel up over the main panel.  The last touch was adding stacked Spellbinders Labels Four diecuts.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Children of God
Paper:  Bazzill, Me An My Big Ideas, 140 lb Strathmore Watercolor
Ink:  Stampin’ Up Chocolate Chip
Accessories:  Spellbinders Standard Circles Large, Spellbinders Standard Circles Small, Spellbinders Labels Four, Martha Stewart Lattice Arch, Ribbon

Have a blessed day, I’ll be back tomorrow.

As luck would have it, I have cards to post but equipment that refuses to cooperate with me – some of it is my fault and some of it is the whim of errant machinery.  It’s sort of like Murphy’s Law of Equipment – the more you need it, the less likely it will work.  In the last couple of days I annihilated the magnetic spacer pad on my die cut machine while experimenting um…creating.  I have happily fixed that issue but now one of my photography lights has burned out.  No worries, I’ll be up and running soon.  In the mean time . . .

so many people mentioned that they have never seen the 25,000 mornings commercial.  One of my wonderful readers, Crystal, was kind enough to post the link, so here it is:

http://tr.youtube.com/watch?v=ElCe0ILsgLE&feature=PlayList&p=3D527501B8E32A3A&index=0

By the way, several of the Pure Michigan commercials are fabulous.  I’m so impressed how Michigan is carving out a niche for itself as a tourist destination and their advertising makes me yearn to travel.  Thanks to all who weighed in – its a comfort to know that "you get it".

Thank you for the link to “25,000 mornings”. It’s a very thought provoking commercial and I sure do “get it”. Life goes way too fast to harbor any kind of negativity so just laugh about the technical difficulties and since laughing is “inner jogging” you’ll be getting some exercise too LOL :) Technology sure is wonderful, WHEN IT WORKS! LOL Have a happy Sunday, Becca, and we’ll sure be looking forward to your posts!ReplyCancel

Thank you for the link. I viewed a couple of others and they are all perfect. The “Tree’s” brought back many memories. Have a good day!ReplyCancel

I am going back to watch the You Tube video, and I do agree…pass on the negativity even if sometimes it’s very hard. Have a wonderful day and I’ll just keep on checking for new posts, but I agree…I can easily go back and look at all the fascinating previous work.
P.S. Has everyone see the Susan Boyle video on You Tube? It’s also amazing!ReplyCancel

Becca I really appreciated you posting that link as I am in the UK and never likely to have seen it. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
Sorry you are having problems with your equipment, know the feeling well….I am the proud owner of a blunt guillotine. :-(
Still, there could be worse things in life.

I am browsing your archives and am feeling blessed to have found your blog earlier on this year.

Thank you so much for the link. I live in MI & haven’t seen these.
I must go to MI.org & see if they say anything about my home town, Muskegon. It is a beautiful place, miles & miles of beaches, the largest deep water port on the Great lakes, fabulous Winter Sports complex.
When “Big Blue” gets roudy it is not unusual to see several big ships
in port to weather out the storm. Every few years the Tall Ships come in & that is spectacular. We are known as the Port City.
    Come visit us.ReplyCancel

I love it that so many different things inspire us. Michigan has always been a destination for us for many years because of it’s beauty in so many sites in the state. (we live in northern Indiana, so traveling to MI is quick). Inspiration comes in many forms; thank you for making a connection for all of us.ReplyCancel

Good morning, I just read your previous post with the link to Pure Michigan…we see these commercials in New Mexico, but I hadn’t seen the 25000 mornings…I have to say, though, that you said it better than the commercial, have thought about that post several times since I first read it…thanks again!ReplyCancel

It’s so important to remember the good and the positive and the beautiful. I work in public education, which is not a happy place right now with all of the budget issues that are happening. Many of us are waiting to find out if we even have jobs next year. But there are so many blessings in my life that I can’t get hung up on the job issue. I am where I am meant to be at this particular moment and I have good all around me. All I have to do is see it. Oh, and by the way, I work in tech support for a school district so I feel your pain with your technical issues, too. Perseverance is the key.
