Wish You Were Near

Hello there!!  I’m still plugging away – yep my craft room is a mess but I cleared a path to the table.  I have a quick card to share with you today with a sweet little boy.  This has to be one of the only little boy stamps that I have in my stash and I love it!!  It’s called Fly Away and it’s one of those adorable Penny Black Stamps from Stamper’s Dream.
I colored it up with my Copic Markers on Prism Simply  Smooth Ivory Cardstock.  The background was created using two Impression-Obsession Cover A Card Stamps (Small Dots and Thick and Thin Stripes) – can you say quick and easy background?  I smudged all my edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink then added the little buttons.  No bow today :-) just knots – sheesh he’s a boy for heaven’s sake!!

Back to work for me, I’ll pop in again soon!!

    Hi Becca~

I love this little boy stamp! Your coloring really brings him to life! I have 3 sons and 3 grandsons…not to mention a husband who loves to act like a child! LOL
    This is incredible!

I don’t know if anyone has won your blog candy yet. If she hasn’t contacted you yet, and it continues to stay out there, will you please include me.

I will be computerless for a few days, however, we have a family funeral to go to. If I happen to win, will you please give me until Monday evening to contact you? I would greatly appreciate it.

This little boy could be any of my grandson’s going to their other grandmother’s funeral this weekend. Life is sure full of mysteries. God is in control, however!
    Amen?ReplyCancel
