Where Did The Time Go?

Sweet Blog Friends, now that I’ve had a chance to reflect on 2012 I thought I would share some thoughts with you.  What a year!!  If I had to sum it up in one word, I’d say BUSY!  Okay, if I add two more words I say ADVENTURE, REWARDING.  Indulge me, if I can leave one more word, I’d say BLESSING.  It’s a special feeling as I look back over the last year and re-live some of the encouragement and interaction that brought about some of my favorite cards and projects.  As a crafter, you should do this too – you’ll  see how much you grew!  In the interim, I hope you take a second to take a stroll back through 2012 with me.  At the bottom of my post I’ll have links to 2011 and 2010 just in case you’re in the mood to reminisce.

My, my, my, how the years fly – here’s a look back through the past several years:

Thanks for strolling along with me, I’ll see you soon!!

Your creations just take my breath away, Becca – they are beautiful, original and stunning! I agree that we should all take time to review our journey, and looking over past posts on a blog is an excellent way to see how far we have come (in my case) or just to appreciate how much you have given to others (in your case). Cringe??? Really???? They were gorgeous and inspiring to me…still are. I have to admit that I feel that way about some of my earlier work because I’ve grown and changed and I like the new places that creativity have taken me. So Ms. Becca, love where you are today but please don’t cringe at where you were, it’s still beautiful work.

  • shawneegalJanuary 12, 2013 - 8:27 am

Becca, I went on the sentimental journey thru all your years and cannot figure out why you would put ( cringe) after 2009 posts. I think they are wonderful ! as are all your creations. You make some of the MOST elegant cards and boxes, etc I have ever viewed.

Happy New, Healthy and Exciting New Year to You. That little cringe after 2009, was not at all necessary. It is just a case of upwards and onwards. It is wonderful to be blessed with such talent. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, inspiration and capacity to share with others.

OH 2009 was not that bad! There’s a lot of good inspiration there, even if maybe you wouldn’t do it exactly the same way now! I wasn’t here in 2009 and I even saw a lot of things I think I’d like to toy around with. At any rate, I love your designs and your style, and I’m always amazed at the things you come up with when using your Spellbinders. The way you cut them apart and reassemble them is absolutely mind-blowing. I love the way you envision things.ReplyCancel

  • Marion UKJanuary 16, 2013 - 8:17 pm

Hi Becca, Even though I visit regularly I have’nt left any comments for a long time, not because I don’t like your work any longer but because I cannot find the adjectives to do it justice. There are only so many times a body can say “Just beautiful” or “Awesome” or even “Stunning” without becoming boring. I would just like to say though that you are so very talented and all your work is “Beautifully, stunningly awesome” and cannot begin to understand why you have put “Cringe” next to your works of art for 2009 as they ARE just that, works of art I mean!
Best wishes, and hope you have a wonderful “New Year”
