Sweet blog friends, how are you today? I’m fab, really!! I’ve had a little relief from the hip and leg pain (I’m almost afraid to say that) lets just pray that this little break goes on for a while. I didn’t waste any time in sitting down to make some things. In fact, you’ll see more from me this week. I’m working on the cutest box that I hope to share by the weekend. In the meantime, I have some new, new, new Quietfire Design stamps to share. I’ve been wishing on a star to get some elegant Quietfire Christmas sentiments to put on my cards this holiday season. Enter, my stamp fairy, and just in the nick of time! Suzanne’s beautiful hand lettering is such a treat! It’s like jewelry for your cards!
In case you haven’t noticed, Spellbinders™ Holly Motifs is one of my very favorite time templates. There’s no doubt that I’ll continue to use it year ’round, but you can fault me for using it to embellish bona fide Christmas Cards at every turn? Here, one of my favorite techniques is to sandwich or stack it so that that beautiful filigree peeks out or as a beautiful showcase. I simply alternated my Holly Motif elements with Spellbinders™ Postage Stamps in two sizes — I made them into frames using Spellbinders™ Classic Squares LG and Classic Squares SM.

Oh Becca, this is such a beautiful creation yet again. I´m truely facinated by the way you always find to stack all these wonderful dies, and this one is no exception. it is sooooooooo gorgeous and I can only agree these sentiments are absolutely gorgeous too.
So glad to hear, that you´ve got some relief from the pains, and I´ll sure cross my fingers, that it´ll last for a long time, so that you can get some great time in your craftingarea and a painfree christmas. Can´t wait to see that new box, you´re working on as I just really love fancy boxes.

I have to say I love, love, love your designs Becca and always look forward to seeing the new ones. I have a question for you. I went to the Quietfire Designs website and wanted to order the “warm winter wishes” stamp, but it appears you can only order if you live in Canada. Any way us “Americans” can purchase the stamp. Thank you for any information.

Oh Becca, I’m so glad you’re feeling better. I hope it lasts on and on indefinitely! I too have the holly motif on my wish list, (hope my family’s looking in). I saw some time ago, how you used it for a card that was not for Christmas. It was wonderful there too! I can see so many possibilities. The quietfire sentiments are always lovely and help me to say what I want. One of the reasons I like making my own cards- being able to design what I want, and say what I want! TYFS! This is amazing!! Love all the layers and texture and the bow is perfect! :) I have the holly motif dies as well but I have a hard time getting the cardstock out of the die without tearing it. I have to pick it out with a piercer! May I ask you what sandwich you use? I am using these dies with a Cuttlebug. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations!! :)
