I was so excited to give my good wishes on your news yesterday, I forgot to mentions how beautiful your first stamp designs are. I love the style and fancy lettering has always been one of my favourites. I love the way paragraphs are started with the large letters as in your post from yesterday. Your samples today really showcase how wonderful the designs are. Your sentiment on the bookmark is beyond wonderful, and oh so true. I am setting aside a special section in my JustRite stamp notebook for yours.. Yikes!! If you are as prolific at stamp designing as you seem to be at everything else I better get a bigger book!! The alphabet set is so lovely … I took a peek at it yesterday and was wowed by it. I love your sophisticated style and the larger sized cards you make. I almost always make a 5×7 card because I like to bling them out. I have several 3D projects I go back to time and again. The first is the pop-up stage card (following Kim Score’s tutorial on SCS). The next is the double tri-fold cascade card which makes a very impressive presentation for any occasion. Lastly, I make my own custom fit presentation boxes for the larger blinged out cards that I plan to hand deliver and they match back to the card itself. Again, congratulation and good luck on your new venture … I’ll be following you! Hugs!

I like to make special boxes for cards when people order cards from me. Put a pretty bow on the box and it really dresses up the cards. Best wishes on your new venture Becca. I can so identify with what you say many times because I too am a widow (it was a year and a half ago–he was 57 years young). I know life will never be the same but God is so faithful and I still trust Him.

A beautiful card, Becca, and for you I’d declare it close to a CAS! The only 3D object I’ve made with any card(s) are boxes to hold a set on occasion. I’m usually so rushed to get the card out in a timely fashion I don’t even get the envelopes decorated, which is something I would enjoy doing. That’s another reason your output, besides being original, innovative, and gorgeous, is so awesome….you accomplish so much!! May God continue to bless you and us.

Well, I really don’t do 3D projects. I guess I would if I had the need. So far, I just make cards. It seems that I’ve always lived far away from most family and good friends so I started making cards as a hobby just a few years ago since I had always loved to write letters and send cards as far back as I can remember.

I rarely make anything to match a card, unless it’s a bookmark or small wallet-size scripture card to include. These are best made in a flat format. On cards, I often use pop dots to pop up a duplicate image.

Both are elegant, and can reach that part of friendship in people who like more elegant designs.;or Like maybe for graduations, bridal showers, anniversary’s. etc. Your new designs will help create this feeling. Also the prices aren’t over the top with economy as it is, budgets, and retirements. If I have one desire, it would be for book marks to match my cards, or a gift holder to match. Your card is beautifully crafted with your wonderful background and pretty ribbon! I’m especially fond of the tag and how you managed to get all that ribbon into such a flat loop at the top! I love 3D flowers as they seem to add so much dimension to any project or card!

Hello Becca. The font is so remarkable on the Vintage Alphabet Soup. I think it is going to dress up any card I care to make with it. I’m starting to branch out with some pop-up cards from the Karen Burniston tutorials and die cuts. I’m also making some Graphic 45 trinket chests for Christmas.

You are always such an inspiration…in your cards…and with your words! So delighted you have taken this path that allows you to continue your blog and sharing your tremendous talent!
At this point I have not ventured into the 3 D element of crafting. I love looking at the projects though!

Gorgeous!! I love the way you stamped the alphabet background over patterned paper. Another tip for my file :) The bookmark is a fabulous idea . However, I think I am the only one in my family who reads ” real” books. Everyone else reads e-books . I normally do not make 3-D items to go with my cards. The only time I make a small box is to put a gift cardholder into it .

Love the card. I have already ordered all your sets. They are super. I do a lot of 3D on my cards. I usually raise my greetings and like to 3D flowers, butterfies and other “critters” on my cards.

So cool! Love how neat this background stamp is! Love your projects also. In yesterday’s blog you asked what size I used most often for cards and I got so wrapped up in what you were saying and my response that I forgot to answer the question, so I will today. The size I use most often is A2. There are other sizes I also like, but at least recently, this is my go to size especially when I need a card quickly.

I don’t make many 3D items, other than adding dimension to my cards with foam dots and such. I have had some fun making some Tissue Cube box covers. I really need to get some boxes made to make up sets of cards for our church Bazaar. You have given me some really good ideas.

What a beautiful card – I love the alphabet background. And I love the scalloped edge. I have made very few 3D things – I struggle to find time to make card when I need one – one of these days, maybe in a couple of years, I want to retire so I will have time to play with paper to my heart’s content. A beautifully made background- so elegant! I love seeing how you take something and create amazing outcomes with it! The wheels are always turning, aren’t they…..Do you lay in bed at night and dream up all of the great ways to use stuff??? LOL I like to change what I am doing and try different techniques- so for 3-D, I make what I think I can use or giveaway- boxes, gift bags, etc…… I have never done a frame- that is still on my stamping bucket list….

I just love scrolly fonts and this is no exception… Stunning. I don’t do much 3D but a couple years ago I did about 50 paper purses for my daughters wedding shower that turned out awesome. Each one was different but had the wedding colors of yellow, black, and white. I created the pattern and instructions and have given them out to anyone that asks for them. Besides the fun in designing each one, I really liked adding craft foam bottoms to the inside to strengthen the purse and cushion the contents. It was a big project though–need more time if I even attempt that again…!

Love the alphabet as a background. I like to make gift card holders or something to dress up a paper gift bag.. I want to make some bookmarks now after seeing yours!!

Oh, yes; “Wind Beneath My Wings” was the song my daughter and “Daddy” danced to at Laurel’s wedding. It has so many different meanings to so many people and I see it as just the perfect song for you for yesterday. Like your blog family lifts you up, so do you lift me up, Becca. You inspire me to step out of my comfort zone and try new and different things. You would be amazed at how many of your cards I ‘lifted’, even though simply by using a different background paper or color of ribbon, it ended up looking entirely different than yours. Now with your own line of stamps my brain is swirling around in my head. Keep ‘em comin’, girl!!!

I think this is my favorite stamp!

Hi Becca, Amazing stamp. It is so versatile & the style of text is beautiful. I like to make altered art gifts to go with my cards. E.g. I have just finished decoupaging pretty papers & stamping onto a cheap chipboard mirror. This stamp would work really well on a unpainted wooden sculpture I found. Fingers crossed I win!

Love the fancy letters. I like to make small sleeve holders to put my cards in to sell or donate as gift packs. I can think of many uses for the alphabet stamp.

I enjoy making boxes especially at Christmas time and at Valentines time for my 3 adorable granddaughters. I also make baskets for them and have a template of a butterfly basket. One of my granddaughters puts all the cards and boxes I’ve made for her in her room in a special place and won’t let anyone touch them! She just turned 5 yesterday and was born on a very special day – 07/07/07.

So lovely! Your examples are great…and I just l-o-v-e that book mark design! You can tell you put a lot of thought into your stamp designs.
I like making 3D embellishments to go with my cards as a gift, and I make Enveloboxes to fit them in. So I guess I make boxes more than bags. But I like to change it up quite often, using repurposed items.

This is just lovely, Becca! I was puzzling over how the alphabet background could be used but this looks fantastic! As for 3-D items – I rarely make them. But when I do, it is usually a gift box or a dressed up gift bag to coordinate with the card.

Oh, this is an easy one to answer….you very own Ribbon Weave Baskets are my favorite to make and are always a hit when I give one as a gift….usually the gift is in the basket, but the basket itself seems to get more attention than the gift inside. I love your creation and find the weaving very relaxing. I actually went through your video and kept starting and stopping it and wrote down the steps and then typed them into a Word document. If you would like the document, I’ll be happy to send it to you via email….just say the word. Anyway, now I can do it with my cheat sheet rather than having to use the video and doing all the starting and stopping. I’ve made quite a few of these with varying themes, different border punches for the handles and several different color combos. My favorites have been the pinks and blues for babies or Easter. So fun. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

I want to first of all, thank you for the inspiration of Amazing Paper Grace. Your designs are amazing, but so is your testimony. The Christian testimony that you have shared with crafters all across the world had proven what an awesome God you serve. I have stalked your blog long enough to not only admire and learn from your talent, but to figure out that through your husband’s illness you were given a strength that only God can provide.
I have enjoyed your introducing me to JustRite stamps and have purchased several of them. It is my prayer that I can use the creativity that I have learned from bloggers just like yourself, that I can make cards to inspire those in my church and community to encourage and lift up those who are not only going through trials, but also to encourage and thank those who are using their talents to lift up Christ and further His work. Boxes are always fun Becca, but I really like to decorate blank books to be used as journals. But, I don’t like to be limited either! :) Never ever any good at choosing one thing!

It is always such a delight when people tell me how much they enjoyed them! I started making my cards many years ago using the card making programs on the computer. They were really nice and everyone loved them, but then I started following blogs, such as yours, and discovered that I liked the more personal touch of creating my own cards from scratch. It was so encouraging to see what others were doing and for a long time most of my cards were just copies of what I saw out there. Now I tend to be more creative and have my own style, though I do still CASE on occasion and you are such a wonderful example! Thanks for everything you do and display. So thrilled you are becoming a real designer!!

My cards are always loaded with embellishments. Gone are the CAS days of yore, LOL. I get anxious if CAS is even mentioned for one of my card group projects. I also love pop-up cards because people who aren’t crafters get a big kick out of them.

I love to make boxes. I have a tutorial that I make into little bibles. They make great Christmas presents. I love how you make boxes that go with your cards. I am also glad that you did not drop your blog. As I was reading yesterdays post, I was saying I hope she will continue the blog. Thank you for shareing your warm thoughts and beatuful ideas.

Another beautiful stamp! I just love this style and so appreciate that some people don’t go in for “cutesy” as much as most. Not knocking it; it’s just not my style. I hope after all the comments you have received so far, you are comfortable with your decision to pursue this path you’re on. It seems to be laid before you and to go in a different direction might be counterproductive (though I can’t imagine that anything you do in the art/craft realm would be counterproductive!), Anyway, hope I’m one of the lucky winners but if I’m not, I still wish you all the luck in the world with your new line.

I really like this card – the colors are just perfect. It is not too fussy, but there are enough design elements to make it look very professional.
I like making the larger cards with high profile flowers, so I have to make boxes for mailing. I did use one of your Becca Bits mailing tips but as the card went to England to my Mother, it was a little crushed by the time it arrived….but I am happy to say she loved the card.

I don’t make a lot of 3D items, but occasionally I’ll make a box to fit a heavily embellished thick card I’ve made.

You have another winner! The bookmark is just the icing on the cake. I like to use the 3-D pop outs inside the cards I make.

What a beautiful stamp, I just love it.

I can only imagine if that was me listening and that song came on, I would have broke down and cried my eyes out. It seems like that song is played at all the important times in my life. It gets to me every time I hear it. The item I like to create with my cards is a box that I love to embellish that my DH brings home for me from his job. It’s packaging for a product they use that otherwise would just be going in the trash. I don’t know what to call the box but on average they are about 5×7 – 6×9 and they are about 2″ thick. The one side is “hinged” so they work out perfect. I use a label remover first to take off the advertisements and then I cover with patterned paper and go to town embellishing it. When I’m done I put the card inside with a tag on the box so they know it’s for them to use and it isn’t necessarily a box for the card. A little gift for them I guess you can say. Thanks again for a chance to play along. I’m looking forward to upcoming months of new releases for your stamp line.

The stamp set is beautiful. In addition to cards I like to make explosion boxes for gift cards. I particularly like the new flip tuck fold ties, geo-dies, pop-up dies and the embossed and cut look of many new dies on the market. The way you used the background stamp on patterned paper is wonderful. You have so many unique an beautiful ideas.

What a wonderfully elegant background stamp! As for 3D creations, I make small shadow box type displays seasonally. Easy and you can showcase items with a lot of detail along with small antiques, memorabelia and photos. I also embellish the covers of mini albums.

Becca – I soooo love the combination of filligree with the vintage feel. Dreamy! Mostly what I create in 3D is little covered folders for post-it notes or candy favor boxes for our (4) secretaries at work.

Once again Becca, these items are just beautiful! Your alphabet stamps are going to be a solid “go to” set for sure! I have not made many 3D items in the past, but just this weekend I made an explosion box for a 20th Anniversary party I went to. It was a huge hit, so I suspect I will do more in the future. While most of my cards do require a box style envelope, I usually keep it plain, but I like to make a special removable 3D embellishment on each card. Sometimes it is a pin, or a charm, or even a bookmark.

My 3-D standby is an envelope for my card! I’ve owned envelope templates for years but have really enjoyed the SU diagonal scoring tool of late. I prefer one-sided pattern paper that I turn white-side-out so my finished envie looks like I lined it with printed paper. Sneaky!
