Amazing Paper Grace

The ordinary and unexpected gift of stamping

Today

Using a large sentiment, I wanted to do something other than plunk it in the middle of a card, so I’m calling this a bookmark.  Granted, it’s a large bookmark…..all the better not to lose one’s place, right?  I had this dreamy piece of vellum in my stash and decided to sew it down to make the bookmark pocket.  The white thread I was using was so stark that I dulled it up a little bit by smudging it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Keeping the rest simple, I embellished with a trio of ribbons and hung a simple heart as the only other embellishment.  Here’s what the entire sentiment says:

Supplies:
Stamps:  Renaissance Art Stamps
Inks:  SU Chocolate Chip, Distress Ink - Vintage Photo
Paper:  Bazzill; Daisy D’s Vellum
Accessories: Antique Gold Heart, Ribbon

Ihave always loved this verse! In fact I just went thru an old box from high school (circa the mid-70’s) and a copy of it I had hand written was in there. I love that there is a stamp for it! This is my first visit to your blog, and I love it! Thanks!

    B.

Are these sentiments stamped ??? Oh my gosh , I know when I have purchased a sentiment stamp they are so expensive. Card is beautiful .. (but of course - you’re a freaken feeken genious). You’re the Leonardo di vinci of card making !!!! Is it possible to print on card stock with computer printers ???? Here I sit in a boring office having a boring time … and I want to play with color , paper, glimmer etc etc etc. Ah well, back to work. ;-)

Beautiful card! I love your work and have bookmarked the site. For those who asked (sorry to just jump in here and answer) but I found the stamp, Becca credited it to Renaissiance Arts stamps and I did a search. I LOVE the sentiment on that stamp.
