Hi there blog friends, happy Monday. You know what that means! I always start off my week with the Mojo Monday sketch and this weeks sketch, Mojo 194, is pure delight!! I love it!! I was done in record time and that’s just what I need on Monday morning. I prepped over the weekend by getting some things I thought I might like to work with. I never know what the sketch is, but when I opened it this morning I was delighted that some of the things I picked would work with it. The sentiment I picked is form a set called Time from Our Daily Bread Designs.
I was pretty much true to the sketch and used a round punch and a scallop border on my cross panel but other than that the sketch was straight cutting. I really lucked out because I sewed another big prima flower yesterday and saved the backing. I was able to use a small part of what was left from the coiled roses and then I used the backing for the vertical strips on my card today. Now why doesn’t that design exist in design paper? Oh well, at least I was able to salvage and you know that always makes me smile.

Sew much I love….the fun of creating the idea! Being excited to run around my craft room anxiously coordinating the elements of my project, adding just one more element that puts it over the top! I also love making projects for weddings and baby showers, and the like. Getting a system, and creating 50 or so of the same project efficiently, yet each one has the “one-of-a-kind” look! Oh yes, and I love to sew on my projects!
