Sweet Baby

by on June 20, 2009

A quick post today to share a baby card that I’m sending out to a friend.  My goodness what was happening nine months ago – I know quite a few people having babies.  It was an excellent opportunity to use one of my Magnolia stamps – so I chose baby Tingla (#286 Sitting Tingla).  She is watercolored with Tombow markers and cut out then perched on a frame that I made with Spellbinders Classic Paisley, Spellbinders Scalloped Paisley and Standard Circles Large.   For the sentiment I used Spellbinders Stars 5.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Magnolia – #286 Sitting Tingla
Paper:  Bazzill, Martha Stewart
Ink:  Colorbox Chalk Ink – Pink Pastel, Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories:  Spellbinders Classic Paisley, Spellbinders Scalloped Paisley, Spellbinders Star, Spellbinders Standard Circle Large, Ribbon, Pearls, Tombow Markers, Eyelets, Pearl Thread, Brad

We have a full day planned for Fathers Day – I hope yours is a memorable one too!!

ETA:  Just a reminder that new Spellbinders dies release on Monday, June 22nd!!  There will be a big contest going on and if you want to get a head start on “The Rules”, have a look at THIS post over at Spellbinders.   Want the low down on who will be showing which dies on which dates?  You can see the line up HERE!  Hope you have a second to stop by beginning on Monday – these new dies are on my favorites list already!

I have never seen Magnolia stamps before——-how charming. From looking at your blog it seems to me that I will be needing more nestabilities. You have used them well.

O! Becca, that is darling!! I have had no interest in the Paisley Nestie, but now it is a must have. The Magnolia stamp is adorable!! I never wanted any of those either. Guess what? I think I am going to have to look more carefully at those too!! I have a great-granddaughter due the end of August and I hope you won’t mind if I use your sweet, adorable idea!! Thanks for all your beautiful, elegant work!

Becca,

This is too cute! Absolutely adorable. I have always wondered what could be done with those Spellbinder’s Paisleys. Everytime I see a pic of them, I wonder what people are making with them. Post something again using those sometime. Awesome. Also, see my email about what I made with some of the blog candy.

Hugs,

Lisa
