Sweet blessings blog friends!!! I hope you don’t mind another Christmas card! Daughter is home and I put this together while we sat at the table to do some catch up. To me it’s amazing to look back over the years and realize that just as people say, they grow up in the blink of an eye. I knew it would be this way, but there’s no way to slow it down. I love it that the holidays bring everyone home — what a comfort! I hope you are in the midst of your own comfort today. For my card today I’ve used coppers and mauve and non-traditional colors along with some vintage papers (musical notes and snowy angel) from Crafty Secrets – Creating with Vintage Christmas CD.
I started out with my card base then a panel using the musical notes. On top of that I layered Spellbinders™ A2 Fancy Ribbon Threader (turned upside down). On the next layer I included Spellbinders™ Vintage Lace Accents and my snow angel panel topped off by Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Accents. Lastly Snowflake Sentiments is cut from Spellbinders™ Back to Basics Tags. Although it won’t get mailed this year – there’s always room in the stash for another one!!
