Amazing Paper Grace

The ordinary and unexpected gift of stamping

Ribbon Splurge

Posted by Becca Feeken on Sunday, April 13th, 2008

On Friday, I happened to be in Michaels to pick up ribbon – it was on sale!!  Can you imagine my glee when I discovered this yummy satin ribbon at $1.00 a spool?  I splurged!

:98

It is called Simply Satin and my guess is that they are changing packaging because there are others on the shelf just like it except the label doesn’t say "Simply Satin".  The large rolls hold 4 yards and the smaller rolls hold 10 yards.   I use more solid colored ribbon than anything else and have simply fallen in love with the wide 1.5" width; this rounds out my "basics" quite nicely.    Who can’t use more ribbon?….I’m just sayin’

Oh Yum-O!! Gorgeous. Did you wrap it to store in your 12×12 drawers? I just shared your link of the ribbon storage on the Papertrey forum. I hope you don’t mind.

Howdy, this is my first reply and I just have to say to a closet lister and obsessed organizer you make my heart sing. I am going to pick up my special order matt board today and get started on my ribbon. I got the matt board for 60% off with a Jo’s coupon, woohoo. Any way, would you show us a close up of the ribbon check list opposite the swatches? Thanks.
