I Can No Other Answer Make But Thanks

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!!   Thanks so much for all who played along with us last week.  This week Betty Wright is hosting the Timeless Tuesday Challenge.  It seems that buttons are everywhere. Whether they are tiny or huge, colorful or clear, slick or textured, or even stamped, they are one of the hottest items out there.  So, this week your challenge is to use buttons!!!!   While we are on the subject of buttons, would you like our Timeless Tuesday button for your blog, check out the Flourishes Newsletter for information and to find out who won last weeks Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!!

For my card today, I kept it simple and actually made a card that will get used right away…I’m always in need of thank you cards to send out.  In the challenge to use buttons, I knew vintage would fit the bill.  These buttons have shanks so it makes it quite convenient to pass the ribbon through them.  The background and the sentiment is stamped from the Flourishes Thank You Set.   Be sure to hop over to the other Friends of Flourishes by clicking on the logo in my sidebar to see what they’ve cooked up for the challenge.

Thanks everyone!!!! Have a Great Day!!!!

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Flourishes – Thank You Set
Paper:  The Paper Company – Blonde Columns, Lasting Impressions
Ink:  SU Always Artichoke
Accessories:  Cream Satin Ribbon, Vintage Buttons – La Moda, Spellbinders – Tags Trio

Be well everyone!!

    Becca,

I love it when you work with the neutral colors, hey I love all the colors you work with. I love that leafy background behind the sentiment. You are gonna hate this, but I have got to know where you got it. What a great idea running the ribbon through the button shanks, it gives the ribbon that awesome gathered look. Thanks for the idea! I can’t wait to see what you create next.

Oh Becca what a Truly Elegant looking card this is. I love the tone on tones always, but this card is just so beautiful. Love your old Buttons too, So Detailed. I like the way you put it all together with the touch of green on the papers edge. Such Fine details.
I must also confess I think I like it so well because the Designer paper you chose is like a wallpaper I had in the early 80s. The floral leafs are exact replicas except they were very pale beige and a soft peach colors. I liked it so well I hung it in the Kitchen……Knew I had seen it somewhere! Thanks for the recall…..LOLReplyCancel
