Never Thirst

Don’t forget, I currently have a Double Play blog candy going on the post located HERE.

We have not had rain in along time, so I guess it was really just as welcome even though it rained all weekend.  I think that was just the medicine I needed to do a little bit of clean up work.  I’ve really gotten very good at ignoring the mayhem in my house but I conquered just enough to make me feel productive.  In the meantime, I also am working on finishing up some cards for Our Daily Bread Designs so I reached for the Never Thirst, one of the new sets for September.

I used Spellbinders Lacey Squares again – it seems to go with just about everything.  I paired it up with the Polka Dot Frame.  To give a little bit of contrast around my layers I used the scant edge of the Tulips Borderabilities just to get those tiny scallops.  I rarely sew on my cards, I don’t know why because I love to – well today I took the time.   I finished up with a big bow and a beaded pin.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Never Thirst
Paper:  K & Company, Bazzill
Ink:  Ancient Page – Sandalwood and Chocolate
Accessories:  Spellbinders Lacey Squares, Spellbinders Polka Dot Frame, Spellbinder Tulip Borderabilities, Pearls, Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by today.  By the way if you haven’t peeked in on the Double Play Blog Candy I’m offering, the comments are amazing — users have shared their tips on how to be frugal.  I sure thought I was doing good on being frugal until I dived in and began reading.   I love the new tips I’ve picked up.  You can check them out HERE.

Becca, I just love visiting your site and seeing these beautiful cards. They are so awe-inspiring. I am wanting to order some of these stamp sets. Whoever you send these to are truly blessed two-fold. 1) by the sentiments and 2) by the beauty of the card. I think I would frame it.

Thanks so much. I guess you can tell that it really has blessed me.ReplyCancel
