Amazing Paper Grace

The ordinary and unexpected gift of stamping

The Precise Moment of Friendship

Don’t you love it when you find the perfect stamp?  This is one of my favorite stamps and its blackened and stained back attests to that fact.  Every time I have used it, the sentiment resonates in my heart as true, and I am very blessed to say that it has never been truer than today.   This has not been my best year, I’ve had many trials to struggle through, but my friends have rescued me, kept me afloat and gently reminded me not to lose faith.   I get emotional whenever read the sentiment and want to dedicate this card to my friends - you are out there and you know who you are.

The card is another long one as I love this format.  This stamp has been sitting on my desk for several weeks and I was waiting for something to click.  The inspiration came from the design paper which is Marcella K (the Target version of K & Co.)  I’ve had this in my stash for some time but was reminded how pretty it was when I was in the store this week. This collection is blue and cream and each sheet has a shimmer.  It’s hard to catch it on camera, the pictures simply don’t do it justice, but I have several pictures to post.

See the shimmer?  It’s so very elegant.  Well, I love the paper so much that I launched into another  project using it.  I hope you’ll come back tomorrow to see what I did with the scraps and leftovers I had laying on my table!  It will be a long post….

Supplies:  Stamps: Wordsworth; Ink: Versamagic - Aegean Blue; Paper: Marcella Kay - Blue and Cream, Bazzill; Accessories: Paper piercing template, Fiskars Border Punch; Gartner Studios Ivory Pearl Seals.
