Magnolia Merry Christmas Tilda

This month the Magnolia-licious Design Team was offered a sketch challenge. Well, knowing how I love sketch challenges, I pulled out the papers and got to work. Incidentally you can see what everyone came up with HERE. For my card I chose the sweetest little Magnolia – #306 Tilda with Garland. Since she’s already holdng up the words Merry Christmas, I decided to let that go for the sentiment. Be sure to check out the huge stock of Magnolias at the new Magnolia-licious Store!

I flipped the design and took a smidgen of creative license by using ribbon instead of another panel. It’s all good, right!?! Tilda is colored with Copics Markers and for a little bit of embellishment I took a Martha Stewart Corner punch and used it for a corner piece topped with a button.

Lol, I don’t know what I’ll do next Christmas season when my favorite Making Memories paper is truly old and perhaps discontinued. Oh well, perhaps using it another couple of times this season I’ll use it all up!!

Absolutely adorable!! I didn’t have any Magnolia stamps, but after you showcased the Magnolia- Licious Chef Edwin and Chef Tlda I had to order them. Now here is another one I want LOL

Your Tilda Christmas card is lovely. The bows on the side really set the card off. This Tilda stamp is very cute.

Oh… Tilda is adorable especialy setting upon your card. Love the paper, double bows, ribbon, and coloring they all go together so well. Great use of the MS corner punch and button. The extra touches is what makes your cards so special.

Oh my gosh, Becca! This is SOOOOOO sweet. Love this Tilda, how you colored her, and the double bows. Too cute!

I ordered Kitchen Tilda and I’ve been stalking my mailbox waiting for her to get here. I can’t wait! Between you and Suzanne, I like the Tildas more and more. :)

I love this card, elegant and yet, whimsical. Your color combinations are perfect. The Tilda is just so precious. What you do with bows never ceases to amaze me. Wonderful card!

Hi Becca. I hope you have someone special in mind to give this card to! You’ve brought a number of elements in and they all work together so well. The bows are so perfectly tied and the button and MS corner complement the figure perfectly.
