It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC9)! Dee Jackson is our challenge hostess this week. She is challenging us to Go Green!!!! What does that mean? Well, it means that you have to find something to redo, to reuse, so we can say we recycled!!! I know you have many items that were created that did not quite make it on a card and you stashed it away for another time. Also, there are all kinds of non-craft items in the home waiting to be reused for something crafty. So, the time is now!!!! Let us go green and recycle those items!!!! We can hardly wait to see what you do!!!!!

My card is simple – for a recycled item I used a dark kraft colored chipboard that came in some packing. Otherwise I stamped out three of the urns from the Flourishes Chairs for You stamp set. I colored it up with Copics and added some rhinestones, then cut with Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangles. The sentiment is from the Flourishes You are Invited Set.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Flourishes Chairs for You, Flourishes You are Invited
Paper: Recycled Chipboard, The Paper Company – Blonde Columns, K & Co. Bazzo;;
Ink: Black Momento
Accessories: Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangles, Bling, Ribbon
Don’t forget to check and see what the other Friends of Flourishes are doing for the challenge!

Great reuse of things Becca. Elegant card. You did well girlfriend!!! Now I wish I could do the same. My brain has been uninspired lately. Think it is due to the long winter here in Upstate NY. Hope more spring like weather will help my creative mind. LOL. ekc

What another gorgeous card Becca. I am forever using bits n pieces from other things on my cards eg I always cut the ribbons that are used for hanging up my clothes and use them for bows. It’s great as they come in all different colours!! I also cut up any old birthday/christmas cards (needlesstosay- not hand made ones, they are all kept) and make them into toppers I look forward to hearing what others do.
Thanks once again for the time you take sharing with all of us.
Hugs,
Trish

Once again….a great challenge. Just last week I shoved aside the box with my “didn’t work right” stamped pieces. Now I’ll have to dig them out.
Also, found a solution for making the frames in my Cuttlebug with the Nestabilities like you did. Thank goodness I kept the magnet sheets.

Becca,
You’ve inspired me to get more creative with “go green”. Sometimes in a hurry I throw things away and later think I could of used that. So, I am going to make a stash box for those crafty moments. I have so many Christmas cards I’ve kept with hopes to recycle one day. My mother used to recycle hers and make many different size balls for hanging, some round, some oblong, some the size of the glass Christmas balls that I hang on my tree every year. One day I will get to my cards and recycle somehow, some way. ha
Love your bow too they are always so pretty.
