I know that every time I show a Magnolia I gush about how adorable they are . . . this one has my heart. These are sure favorites with some of the little girls in my life (you know who you are *wink*). I love to keep a stash of these around for my special little ladies and try to make up gift boxes or baskets to go with them as well. This one is #346 Tilda with Ladybug. In the depths of my studio I knew I had these wooden ladybugs and I thought they would go perfectly with the card. I have been dying to use this Spellbinders On the Vine Borderabilities Grand with all the vines and curlicues – it is sure to become one I use often. When I looked at the Mojo Monday Sketch one thing fell into place after the other.
To make the card I cut all my circles with Spellbinders Standard Large Circles and Spellbinders Standard Small Circles. After intertwining the vine with the hollowed out circle and threading the sentiment through, I added the wooden lady bugs and pearls. To make the box I followed this sweet tutorial from the Scor-Pal library, this specific project can be found HERE. Once I know the recipient I’ll add coloring cards and a bundle of new crayola crayons tied with a bow :).
